Smoke is going up like Mt Vesuvius that between 2-8 teams announce realignments this next week. Coaching searches will be full bore and the matrix of movement from HCs, OCs, DCs and Assistants will be dizzying to say the least.
And of course for every actual movement there will be 250 rumors and insiders chirping like song birds.
Not sure I am ready.
Loan thing I am anxious about is realignment. Many are saying UVA and GT to the B1G announced tomorrow and that FSU and 0-3 friends will be in the Big 12 by Friday.
cant wait, this will be better than following the Noles
ACC is probably about to get picked apart.
We can only hope my friend
Exactly. All the hopes and dreams of a few programs in the ACC can be met by combining whats left of the BE and ACC to form a conference once Clemson, FSU, VT, UVA, NCSt and Miami all leave for conferences who don't functionally hate them for caring about football.
Thats what we are hoping for. THe ACC will then become the Big East and Conference USA will be the new Big East
Amen brother, this season has flown by like it always does.
How bad do you think Bama will beat us next year?
Big 12 baby best conference in the world
fsufsu said... I've got about 10 great stories on Lane but all you need to know is he will never be a loser, that's for sure.
SEC lets go!!
If it adds FSU, Clemson, Miami, Louisville, Notre Dame and BYU between now and 2016 I think you're right.
We may have to just settle for, "WAY better than the ACC"
The SEC is so yesterday dude
Why is the B1G going to take UVA over VT?
.. They are both better than the ACC!!!
They are slower
Give FSU that SEC type money and we will be hell to deal with again. Our biggest issue now, post Bowden, is that we have to hire coaching "prospects" and then lose them if they blow up. FSU joins the Big 12 and we can pay 4 a year to a proven winner.
If we move to the Big 12 I hope Texas steals Saban for 7 mill. I will want the Big 12 to take over.
I would offer 10 million a year to Tomlin, just see how it felt about it
You never know, or whatever he makes.... triple it
Got to thinking about the bowl matchups. Looks like the ACC will play against NIU this season in the Orange. With the SEC/Big 12 relationship, and Big 10/PAC relationship, does that mean in most years that the ACC will get to play the at large mid-major?
VA is an AAU accredited school that opens up a lot of grant money opportunities, etc.
If the Big 10 pushes to 16 teams, can they really be considered a super conference? Adding teams like Rutgers, Maryland, Virginia and Georgia Tech is only watering down an already garbage league.
