Chant on playas....I might roll over and join them next time...
Bunch of commies iyam.
Can't even wear patriotic bandanas anymore. Smh
California isn't America
Come on, im from Cali
Those four are douchebags and obviously doing it to get a rise out of the other school but they should be able to do it. The other fans should have started to chant with them considering they moved here to get a better life. I'm proud of my heritage but I'm also an American and very proud of that.
The principal has an American flag in his school picture. So I sent him my own little cease and desist letter.
Your picture on the school website has an American flag in the background. This causes action to believe that you will only represent students who have obtained United States citizenship and disregard other ethnic groups. Please remove the picture within 14 business days or suit will be filed on behalf of general interest groups who oppose the unfair treatment of different ethnicities in school.
Have a blessed, American day."

No. We chanted "USA! USA!" after the national anthem at every basketball game in high school. I'm from Georgia (we actually like our country) and nobody ever even thought about it being anything close to racist. It will be a cold day in hell when Newt Gingrich's district tells students to stop chanting "USA!"
Superintendent and principal should be waterboarded IMO. Dickless wimps.

It wouldn't happen in the Southeast but we don't have a immigration problem. They were obviously weren't doing it after an anthem or anything like that. They're were doing it in front of a mainly Mexican school to tell them to go home or whatever. Like I said it should be allowed but I get it. California is just a little hypersensitive.
The liberal would find this funny
Can't wait for your scintillating input.
Do you even know what he is laughing about? Nope, just judging him for what political stance he is.
I can kinda see the principal's point. Who chants "USA" at a high school basketball game? But I bet he wouldn't care if a Mexican sports chant in Spanish was started.
That being said, I've seen far worse things chanted at basketball games and as someone else mentioned, they should be proud to be in America. If USA chants offend Spanish people in the USA then it just furthers the view that they don't give a crap about our country, only the benefits. What does that say when the fastest growing portion of our population is ashamed and offended by patriotic chants?
So what are they supposed to chant?

Where I am from (Gainesville, Ga) there is a lot of illegals. But I'll chant USA all day long and no one will tell me to stop no matter the situation.
I might have been judging, but I was right.
Chanting their team mascot could be a start...
Their school, just like the other is diverse. However, what is wrong with what they were doing? Its the same as chanting USA at an international sport.
The only other perspective was from the Latin version of the Huffington Post, which would be the epitome of "WOE IS ME!"
They were doing it to be dicks. It's pretty simple. They should be able to do it and the Mexican-American students should've joined in. It's their country too most likely. Their parents probably came over before they were born. If they were born here they should be proud that they're Mexican-American.
The video I saw seemed like it was real white... Other than that Indian looking guy in the front. You think they just wear american bandannas for no reason other than to be patriotic? Come on man don't be dumb.
Actually the southeast has a big immigration problem, fortunately your school administrators could give two shits about being PC.
I see quite a few Hispanics chanting USA. Now my question is was there another student section? And what if there was, what were they chanting.
