I'm discovering that with property tax and insurance being a fraction of what it is in fla I can afford a lot more home in NC than I first thought.
No I did not lose a sig bet, but I am really really really ridiculously good looking.
You know it.
Golden is better then Jimbo... I feared it was true. He is going to hoist a crystal ball there - fsufsu
I don't think anyone wants to live in Detroit fwiw. Lol
Shocking. Let me guess, only the research triangle in North Carolina
you leave the triangle alone.
I might actually end up in Savannah soon. Contemplating going back to school at SCAD.
I like NC a lot.. If it were up to me, I'd live somewhere else in the SE outside of Florida... Whether it be Savannah, Charleston, Richmond, Asheville, etc... Basically anywhere with actual seasons, historic views, good food/drinks/music, less humidity..
I don't remember the wagging finger smilie on mobile.

As for me...South Carolina, Georgia or the Great and Honorable state of Alabama.
St. Patty's in Savannah is no joke. Holy hell...
SCAD's nice. I think Flagler college in St. Augustine would be a cool college to go to as well.
I went this year, never again.
No sh!t? Small world, I was there, too. Definitely going back. Got a year to recover.
No joke, a 225k house in Raleigh putting 5% down has a monthly payment of $1200 and that includes mortgage, taxes, insurance and mortgage insurance.
During the day was cool, at night it sucked IMO. Way to many people, not enough bathrooms and I had to put my wallet in my front pocket.
Alabama is a great place to live
You ain't lying. First time I went I almost ended up with a tattoo (not a tattoo guy) of a bottle of Jack Daniels. I don't even drink Jack. A guy I was doing shots with all night wanted to pay for me a matching one.. Thankfully my friends found me while he was getting his finished. Man that forearm tattoo would have been a bad choice. No clue who he was btw...
Wow that is really really cheap. I'm jelly.
I haven't done Mardis Gras in NO yet, but from a ridiculousness standpoint, St. Patty's in Savannah destroys Mardis Gras in Mobile. And I had a blast in Mobile.
But I'll never leave the great state of Georgia
Agreed. No place better.
