I've driven from FL to Jackson 3 times. Also flown round trip twice. The difference is so ridiculous. The road trip is great from about St Louis on out. First time we had went up to party in Indianapolis, then south Bend, then Michigan & ended up in Madison. It was a lot of fun... Driving to Jackson from there was awesome. Went to the Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, etc. For the record I thought Nebraska was really pretty. Kansas was the one that took forever.

The north and west parts of Nebraska have some amazing scenery. The I-80 corridor is awful though until you get west to Sidney
