LAWL at Miami
you got something against me, don't worry I well sign for the hole year.not my first time on this site.
If Michigan lands Peppers (likely), McDowell (likely), and Hand (in his top 2) there is no doubt they will have a top 5 class.
More than likely this will be Hoke's best class to date in terms of top end talent. Seems like Michigan fans have been saying that every year under Hoke. What's certain is the staff can recruit. tOSU is always going to recruit very well, but tOSU fans can't deny that Michigan classes have closed the gap dramatically from a couple years ago.
Everyone was saying Hoke couldn't close; I think he closed pretty well with Derrick Green. Couldn't recruit elite skill position players; think he's proven that wrong pretty well as well.
You seriously think Miami will be top 5? You're on crack. aTm has momentum and a big start already. Bama always goes high. LSU has so much backyard talent this year, it's rediculous. Cook ain't committing to UM, so don't get your hopes up. He knows we don't have a home run threat and as soon as he steps on campus he's that guy. Plus, The only player from Sofia highly rated that you'll get is probably lane (yearby too obviously). You are delusional. Remember when you thought you would get Bostwick, and others last year? Didn't work out. We got Moten, yeargin really likes us, Rudolph has us as leader, cook in fold. Not to mention Scott, and Trent Harris from Orlando. You get Lane and yearby...pretty much it for high ranking players, you can't take a big class because you signed such a big one last year, plus sanctions are coming.

A couple weeks ago I would have said OSU is likely for Peppers. You never know. I don't know if I'd pick tOSU over Stanford. Best degree in FBS football, beautiful campus, and they have a good football team. And they led at one point as well.
I'll agree he closed the gap from the Rich Rod days for sure. And Derrick Green fell in Hokes lap I'm not counting that. I'm more impressed with the OL recruiting lol. If he can grab Hand I'll give him a high five lol. I always thought he was all Va Tech.
Says the OSU fan.
Spence and Dontre Wilson fell right into Urban's lap.
The hypocrisy of you guys is astounding.

Is it hypocritical? Because there are guys OSU got after a year of recruiting. Vonn Bell and Mike Mitchell didn't exactly just fall in our laps. You don't have any other guys you closed on besided Green.
Yes, it's hypocritical. Not that hard to understand. When Spence committed, you all were praising Urban like god, but ignore that the sanctions played a big impact in Spence's commitment. Urban doesn't pull that off without what went down at PSU. All I saw when Green committed from you guys were: "Meh, he doesn't get Green without Auburn having a coaching change"
And you might want to do your research. Either that, or your definition of "closer" is different from everybody elses.
The big difference between the Green recruitment and the Spence recruitment is that Hoke was at Michigan for over a year when he started recruiting Green. Urban was able to get a 5 star kid after taking the job a few months before. That's why OSU fans were impressed.
Like Gaks said, it's not like Spence is the only guy Urban has gotten late or flipped, whereas Green is the only real big name kid Hoke has gotten late, and you could argue that Green more ran out of other options than Hoke really sealed the deal
That's not the point. The point was OSU fans ignored the sanctions/coaching changes played a part, and chalked it up to Urban "being a master flipper", while a coaching change "was the main reason" we got Green according to you guys. It's hypocritical to turn a blind eye like that.
Vonn Bell fell in your lap after we got Eddie Jackson. Unless you call beating out UT a challenge
fsufsu said... I've got about 10 great stories on Lane but all you need to know is he will never be a loser, that's for sure.
I can barely read this
-1 for your troubles
My argument is about closing and has nothing to do with who Ohio State lucked into. It's about all the guys Meyer gets after a year of recruiting vs Hoke who gets nothing in. Every UM fan gets hyped this time of year, but come January you can't get anybody and you see everybody pass you in the rankings.
This time last year you guys had the number one class and led for a number of 5 stars. You ended up with none of them. Happens every year and you never seem to learn.
You forgot better Lier, better crier and better quitter for Meyer imo
Gak where ya got Kelly in all this midwestern madness
Hey... At least his name isn't Jimbo!
Its a nickname
John James Fisher is his name
That's not what the original argument was about. Quit trying to change the subject you moron.
And nice joke, that's a knee-slapper. Real original.
We'll both have top 5 classes year in and year out. If you want to thump your chest because OSU is #2 to Michigan being #3 or #4, go ahead because it's really splitting hairs at that point.
He said as if Eddie Jackson was the better option... Your depth chart lost you Vonn Bell...
It was my original statement... you brought up stuff I personally didn't say.
Go check I'll wait...
Meyer, Kelly ,Patterson, Dantonio, Hoke IMO
