I thought it was hilarious when Dantonio claimed a zero tolerance policy then allowed one of his star defenders to play, 2-3 years ago lol.
And when was the last time UM was a champ of anything B1G related?
Yeah suspended license is the same thing as an assault charge where he bashed a guy's face in...
Not to mention Rucker served jail time and essentially went right from the jail cell to the field. Two pretty different scenarios.
When did Rucker smash someone's face in?
And to the poster above, what exactly happened with Winston? I doubt any of you even know, but you know the party line of anything that Dantonio does = evil; anything Hokie Pokie does is a-okay.
Need to start posting absolute details
yeah your guy is facing up to 90 days
2011 Gator Bowl?
It was Rich Rod.. doesn't count
I'll bet whatever you want that he doesn't see a minute in jail. Are you game? .... Yeah didn't think so. Go back to your hole clown.
It appears ol-Fitz was not even suspended. Hoke the merciful.
""They've been practicing," Hoke said, when asked to clarify the players' status with the team. "Usually if you're suspended, I don't let you practice.""
No one's afraid of that. You might as well go ahead and lube up now.
Viagra to Shadow
Why are you browsing AnnArbor.com looking for articles about UM and Hoke?
I can smell your obsession from here... might wanna ease up on it.
Why is your coach lying to the media?
This is Michigan!
my only issue with this situation is UM fans and their coach want to preach about having stiff penalties for things like this, yet they arent acting on their words (apparently). wont know for sure until saturday night.
False. Both Fitz and Clark were suspended from team activities after their arrests over the summer, and missed the first 1 or 2 weeks of fall camp. Hoke did let them start practicing again though. No idea why though. He made Furman miss all of spring practice when he was found not guilty of all charges against him. Perhaps making his rules less strict considering the slow pace the justice system works at?
Don't let actual facts get in the way of their good time. Hoke is a liar!
False. No where that I'm aware of has Hoke or any coach on the staff talked about having stiff penalties. Hoke doesn't say crap about anything to anybody outside the program. Now the UM fan thing...yeah, I'll give you that, but with as many fans as any big time program has, a handful will always say something that will look stupid retrospect.
oh, ok. people have been saying Hoke said he was gonna run his program like that, but i honestly dont know.
False, Hoke has been asked if they were still suspended and if they would play countless times and each time Hoke says he will decide later. Hoke is lying, face it. Fitz and Clark were "suspended" for two weeks during the summer when nothing was going on - how convenient.
BTW, at least for Fitz, I don't really think he should sit, or just sit a quarter; but the delusion of you assbag scummers is off the chart.
Hokie is iskeered!
Just face it. He's not allowed to bench Fitz and making justifications. Puppet coaches don't last too long.
They missed 1 week of camp..
So by saying that he hasn't decided yet he is lying? How do you know this? Are you Brady Hoke?
This is Michigan, fergodsakes.
Also, this probably explains why Hoke isn't telling the media.
The following is a Q&A exchange about Fitz and Clark that Coach Hoke had with the press today following the live streaming portion of the press conference ...
Q: Do you feel caught between giving your team the best chance to win versus making sure the players pay the consequences for breaking the law?
A: “Well, I think whenever you’re in this position, you’ve got to make decisions that are best for the program. And that doesn’t mean for one specific team, it means for the program. It means for the identity and the character of the program that you represent. Are they easy decisions? No. Are they decisions you want to make? Because you love the kids, no. But you have to make them.”
Q: It seems you’re in a very uncomfortable spot.
A: “I’m comfortable with what I want to do. Very comfortable with that. Talking to all you guys about it? No. That’s not comfortable, because it’s talking about two kids who are sons to us and made bad decisions.”
Q: Do you know what you’re going to do?
A: “Oh, I probably have an idea.”
Q: Will you reveal your decision on Fitz to the public, or will you keep that secret until game time?
A: “I’m sure I’ll say something when the time’s right.”
Q: And that means…
A: “When the time’s right.”
Q: Right before kickoff?
A: “I don’t know. I haven’t figured all that out. I’ve got an idea.”
Q: Fitz’s arraignment is on Tuesday. Does that affect his situation?
A: “No. Nope.”
