Why was he pulled over for what he drove then? This doesn't happen as much in the south. Maybe why I don't understand.
Driving while black is a nationwide phenomenon. In fact, in Texas there was a prosecutor allowing cops to take home cash seizures and the cops were pulling over blacks and hispanics at astonishing rates and basically threatening them with jail and the prospect of having their kids seized by DHS until they turned over whatever cash they had on hand. There was a CNN special about it I believe.
Nobody on this board can define the word regression.... but it sure gets used a lot.
DWB is alive and well in Philly. It happens everywhere from what I've seen and heard.
How does it feel to have the tables turned?

No, he wasn't breaking any laws or cited for anything. He was pulled over because he fit the "profile" of a drug dealer or an auto thief. Read: driving a nice car while being black.
Look, you don't give a shit because it doesn't effect you in the slightest. I'm often guilty of the same. I could give two shits if Muhammad is frisked before he steps down into the subway because I just want to make it to work without being blown up. That said, I can at least recognize how Muhammad the American NYU student would be pissed about being frisked three times in the past year for just looking middle eastern. And I recognize that Muhammad doesn't have to be wearing a "Kill All Infidels" t-shirt for this to happen.
The racist sees racism.
The opportunist sees opportunity.
It's about seeing what you want to see.
Discrimination begins at home. Racist aren't born....they are created.
I get Unfairly profiled when I wear my "Kill all da white people" t-shirt
Good now that you've exposed that you have no idea how racism operates I won't feel bad about writing off whatever you say. You must have pulled that first line from Rush Limbaugh.
Black cops even get stop & frisked in NYC. But it's not racist though... they were being suspicious, should stop dressing/acting like criminals, etc. /s
Lying on the ground in Harlem with handcuffs around his wrists, Eric Josey, 45, made sure not to scream. A cop had just thrown him down, but he remained silent. He had been driving his car on 130th Street and Adam Clayt
Well that sucks. I am sorry this happens.
You, sir, are a race obsessed mental midget infatuated with his own undereducated opinion.
Have a nice day. I hope you don't get arrested for being black.
Peace out, Broseph.
Look how quickly he descends into ad hominem.... but I'm a mental midget. Wow... I really hit the nail on the head with the Limbaugh thing though. You've quoted him twice now.
This!!! Miami is a dump!
Going to school in South Central LA, I can say that the LAPD definitely continues to profile blacks and Hispanics. Actually witnessing it firsthand here definitely changed my mind. I used to think it was mostly just myth or exaggeration. I'm not saying that all accusations of police racism are true, but people are kidding themselves if they think it doesn't or rarely happens. I don't think I have a single black friend here who hasn't been stopped by cops at least once, while I know very few white or Asian guys who have had that happen, even though there are far more whites and Asians here than blacks. And these guys aren't criminals, and they don't dress, act, or talk like thugs.
Can we lock/delete this thread already?
Nothing productive comes from these types of threads.
Sorry, if I'm stupid enough to start a fight with, say an MMA fighter.....if he beats my ass to the point of me fearing for my life, I'll absolute deserve to die.....if I had a gun and shot him, I'd fully expect to be sentenced to MANY years in prison.
Maybe if parents "parented" better they would not have to worry ... Ever thought about that logic?
His point was being worried about how other people would treat his kids. You can't parent them, just your own.
