Former #FSU QB Clint Trickett is taking an official visit to #Auburn, a source told CBS this morning.
Perfect fit, IMO.

Auburn getting visit from fmr FlaSt QB Clint Trickett (per @BFeldmanCBS) not his only visit, but AU Asst Dameyune Craig was his coach at FSU.
My sentiments exactly
He may be the Doug flutie they need
Clint could not take the abuse of SEC defenses all season.
I don't understand why any QB with NFL aspirations would want to play for Gus and that gimmicky offense. It doesn't prepare you for the league at all.

I think CT's aspirations are better suited for coaching, but I agree it is not a place for a pocket passer. Seriously, though- I don't think he would survive a season in the SEC. I had my doubts about how he would handle even the weak defenses we play if he started.
You making the trip to Gainesville this year?
That was funny.
We were last there in 2009, Jesus' last game. My husband had a stomach bug, we got our asses kicked, and it was all around horrible. I might go back someday, but we'll have to have a good chance of winning, and I will need for my kids to be old enough that I can get hammered and not have to do any real parenting.
Haha, fair enough.
lol for real?
In that Offense?
Cam's right leg is as big as Trick

I would laugh so hard if he went to Auburn
Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or it may last a year. But eventually, it will subside. If i quit, however it will last forever.
Seriously... I'm not trolling.
Other than Cam Newton, who was ungodly talented, who was the last QB that Auburn or Gus put into the NFL running that type of offense?
What type of offense do you think Chris Todd, Barrett Trotter, and Clint Moseley could've played in than would've sent them to the league?

True RGIII and Cam were not prepared for the league at all. That gimmicky offense they run hurt their draft status and their first year in the NFL bad.
The point I'm trying to make is that Trickett is nothing like RG3 or Cam.
He's up to 185 and can toss the rock but he's extremely average overall.
I think he is still in the 175-180 range. But AU yall actually want him? He has a decent arm ill give him that, but he was scared shitless when he came in vs UF last yr. You could see the fear, how do you think he will react facing that every week in the SEC? Lol, USF or WV is prob his best bet. He is not SEC material, I do wish him luck though. Kid shocked the hell outta me back in 2011, had a few solid games when EJ was hurt if I remember right
I Believe Auburn and Love IT...4 Life!
You should prepare yourself to live with the consequences of your decisions, whatever they may be.
Isn't Nick Marshall gonna win that job?
Art Schlichter's cellmates and Mo Clarett's rugby team believe Ohio State always does things honestly.....
Maybe, he's noticeably bigger than last fall when he was reported at 175. Either way I agree. Forget UF, Wake Forest scared this kid shitless.
So let me get this straight. Only talented QBs make it to the league? Wow, this is some earth shattering talk ITT.
Who said they were anything alike?
