What are you hearing on JR going into dead period? Most FSU insiders say we lead by a hair.
Pressing for this kid and not Eddie Jackson was the ultimate fail, especially if FSU doesn't land him
fsufsu said... I've got about 10 great stories on Lane but all you need to know is he will never be a loser, that's for sure.
Every team thinks they get him. Luke has said he thinks he will be a gator and getting the last in home helped. I honestly think he sticks with USC though. I don't know if I am trying to down play it so I don't get crushed if he isn't a gator or if because he is already committed. We will all find out Wednesday, he has done a hell of a job keeping it quite.
I agree, when every team is confident you have to have a very solid reason to believe you are going to get him and FSU doesnt have that angle.
JC said our coaches think he is coming. Chris Hawkins said he is coming.
Nobody is going to "know" until Wednesday so we all have to wait.
Yeah neither does UF. Only angle we really have is that UF coaches were the last to see him and talk to him.
OT but does Matt Thomas remind any of you Fl guys of a taller Frankie Telfort? Immediately what I thought of when I watched his film.
He and Frankie have similar games but Matthew is 5 inches longer/taller.
What team do you support? You can't say he is going to your program but have nothing that indicates what program you are at lol.
Yeah. Frankie played for Gulliver Prep, MT6 plays for BTW...... Big difference.
Nothing they've gone quiet
Jalen should probably just go to Vandy IYAM. lol
Don't know why it matters what high school they went to
For real bro?
Less competition than UF for his position and a hair closer to his home (from instagram he seems to care about his family and friends a lot)
I think he sticks with USC, but its anyone's guess at this point.
Yeah. Can't compare a kid from a powerhouse to a kid from a small school?
Booker T plays against other huge inner city high school teams. Gulliver plays tiny white kids a lot.
Not sure about that less competition aspect
If Joyner moves back to corner you are looking at him competing with Joyner, Smith, Hunter, Darby, Waisome, Blake and possibly PJ Williams too depending on where he winds up
Then add the other possible corners like Wilson and White
Not exactly a clear path to playing time imo
Correct, Guliver isn't a real south florida school in terms of competition
But they do get Miami kids so their talent is no joke, competition not so much
