BIG WIN for the Tide.
"Nobody makes me bleed my own blood, nobody!"
Players leaving early is starting to finally catch up cal, because I heard they do not have no leadership on that team
They're starting play with more consistency. Had no idea they lead the conference in 3pt%..
Without self-knowledge there is no individuality
Outside of Florida, SEC basketball is turrible this year.
Go Blue & Gig Em'!
Basically we're finally seeing the downside of having almost your entire starting 5 being last years number 1 recruiting class. Some years aren't as strong as others. You're absolutely right they're severely lacking leadership. Ryan Harrow is cracking under the immense pressure Calipari puts on his point guards. I think this team just came into Lexington with all of the previous years championship hype and just aren't nearly as talented and tough as last years squad. Not to mention, Darius Miller played a huge role as the experienced upperclassman and mature leader. This years team has Mays who's a transfer and Wiltjer who's just a sophomore and lacks confidence IMO.
But don't fear, because next year's recruiting class is insane and will make them an automatic favorite for the Final Four. And they're still adding to it.

Ole Miss is better than Florida dude.
I guess I was one who thought that getting 3 or 4 5* recruits every year would yield the same result but I'll have to eat some crow on that. I think UK can still respond and do well in the next few months.
There is no way that this happens again at UK for a LONG time. Don't they have those twins coming in for them next year that are basically the top two players in the country? Chemistry just didn't seem to fit with this group. A couple of them stick around and mesh with next years incoming crop and BOOM. Cal will be right back in the final four.
Playing the game that he plays with these early enrollees is going to bite you every now and again. I think he's proven that it works more often than not though. I'm sure you would take what Cal has going at UK at FSU in a hot second. As would I at Bama. Well so long as he doesn't get his team put on probation on his way to the pro's. I've never seen a coach actually come out and admit that the place he is coaching at is a stop gap.
Calipari has said numerous times that I've seen on television stating that he wasn't going to end his career at UK.
So what is he planning on after UK? NBA? I would have thought he would have already jumped if that were his plan.
Don't know. He has said on several occasions that he is not a lifer at UK though. Maybe he decides he wants to go pro, maybe he decides that he wants to be in the broadcast booth for a few years as a break. Who knows. All I know is that he constantly says that this is not going to be his last job.
Hell I heard him say it four or five times on that three or four show special that they did for this incoming group on ESPNU a few weeks before the season began.
Maybe he'll revive the Magic! Although they need some talent besides Big Baby and JJ Redick.
We shall see, Florida's losses this year are @ Arizona and vs Kansas State (In Kansas City)
The Gators are playing some good basketball right now.
SEC blows, come on now.
UF>>> at everyone else.
Not quite sure by what you mean by that post
Florida is #6 in RPI and is playing good right now, we'll see if they can keep it up. They've also returned a core of guys who made back to back elite 8 appearances.

Was saying UF is the only team in the SEC that can make run in March.
Ohh gotcha, hopefully we can, we were so close to the final 4 the past two years, blew 10 point leads in the 2nd half of both Elite 8 games.
This team is playing great basketball right now, but its feb/early march when teams need to be performing well. Also the SEC looks pretty crappy this year, if Florida drops a few games in SEC play I will have my doubts.
Cal would not make a good nba coach. Plus didn't he already try that experiment in the 90s and fail. Also ratt I would love a coach who can get this team over the hump, but not cal type coach who would get us in trouble
Could this year be Cals first vacated NIT?

Final Four bound, IYAM. Coach Saban continues to do a tremendous job.
I think so. I think if the softball team comes out on fire in this first tournament they have in a few weeks we should go ahead and claim that one too. Also, with the way the gymnastics team looked the other night, I think I'm going to go ahead and claim that one as well.
Understatement of the Century. The way Saban had them come out after half........Legendary.
Yep, let's claim it. It'll piss off Clay Travis so bad.
Do we add it to the number 15 or do we start with 1?
Note: It definitely deserves to be noted on the Saban statue regardless of what number we give it, IMO.
I think we should sculpt a basketball and put it between his clapping hands with a 1 on it. Then all our basketball marketing pieces could sport a jersey or basketball with the number 1 on it. And Saban's face, can't forget that.
Every win is big, come on now.
