I've been following for at least 10 years and I know a lot about the sport, fighters and fighter casual fans have no idea about that are very good fighters.
Love it. My best friend just got back from 8 years of Army service about 2-3 years ago and he just moved in with me and he knows just as much, if not more than I do about UFC
I LOVE the chess match the goes on when they're on the ground. Soo much technical stuff is going on while they are on the ground.
Can't wait for the card tonight fellas almost every fight, you'll have at least one or both that are extremely well rounded. Going to be an interesting night to day the least .
Could be epic, 4-5 good fight, few great fights or a lot of boring fights.
I see some nice submissions, 2-3 for sure tonight, IMO.. At least 3-4 go the distance and 2 KO's tonight.
Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.
First fight ends with a KO, good sign for the night.
Our quarterback does front flips, suck it.
Second fight, second KO.
Lol you mustve been bullied. I played football, baseball and did some boxing growing up. Now a few years ago, im 39 now, I did some MMA training. It's by far more physically demanding than anything Ive ever done but you dont care.
I always forget about fb showing early fights.
Sarah sorry about the Herpes.
I'll remind you.
Bullied? Da fuq would that have to do with me not liking MMA... Anyways I never said anything about the guys not being athletes.. I just think it's boring when all they do is roll around
Dive for the thrill, shoot for the kill.
Its only boring if you don't understand how intricate it is. Same could be said about watching boxing. Most my friends wrestled in High school so i constantly exposed to grappling. I did football and weight training all year but would hit the mats with the heavyweight everyonce in a while as i have always been interest with submission wresting.
True I don't know the complexities that go into the techniques.. I enjoy watching baseball and heck even listening to it just because I like to see the chess match between the pitcher and batter which a lot of people think is boring
Yep its all to each their own. I watch baseball and it bores me but as background noise listening to the game i love it.
Naw it's not like that all. It's tactical. Now the ones that "lay and pray" I cant stand. I'm not saying you but the ones who say roll around just dont understand BJJ and the strategic part. I use to love boxing but it's just not very good now.
Barboza looks good.
Is it time for Rogan to go? In fights where he has friends, he is very bias and not to mention he screams at every jab or leg kick.
He can get biased from time to time, but no, he isn't leaving.
He has hard shins.
Good first fight. Dudes leg is probably fvcked
He isn't going to walk right for days. I remember when my friends and I used to trade leg kicks.
Big boys about to throw down, hopefully we get a solid highlight type finish.
Hoping this fight sets up the rest of the night. Should be good
Yeah the heavy weight ones didn't usually last long. How it's a good one
Rogan really, really knows the sport and is great at explaining what's going on, especially on the ground/clinch. Don't know why all of the sudden people are down on him.
Gonzaga is freaking scary.
Won some $ on Melancon...let's keep this a winning night
That's it, have a female ref for these two monsters.
