Put up 40 on ANYBODY, when they are clicking. Bama, LsU, FL ST, Michigan, Oregon. Teams simply dont have two CBs to stop Woods/Lee, they may have 1 CB to slow one of our recievers down, but the other WR will go off. Or our two NFL.TEs, or our two 1000 Yd Backs....
Now how many points we give up?? Ughh, I still worry about our Defense. Im a realist not a blind homer like Trojanwarrior1 or Usctrojan1, our D is average at best until proven otherwise. We have some good Defenders like Bailey, TjMac, Robey, but we gotta prove it on the field first. Thats why LSU/Bama would be a hell of a game. Cant Wait!
You're killin' me Smalls.
Looks like another perfect day.
They may not have the corners to cover both, but they would not be able to put up 40 on LSU or FSU because they would give Barkley about 2 seconds to make a throw.
Yes we can hold you under that.
It's calling running the ball and keeping it away from your offense.
And 2 elite DE's and a top Safety

Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.
Its a novel concept that those with explosive offenses(And huge homers) fail to realize.
University of Alabama: The high mark of college football since 1892
Thats how you beat USC, rough up Barkley. BUT we gotta top 5 oline,,, gave up the fewest sacks last year.
And with USC's defense, any team with a top 20 offense still has a chance to outscore them. USC's problem is not offense. It's defense. Ask Oregon and Wisconsin how well that works against the very top teams in the country.
solid troll should get a bunch of bites
^^^^This^^^^ LSU's DE would murder SC's tackles..No way they're putting up 40 on LSU, FSU, and probably not Bama..
Lulz at thinking Barkley will get a pass off
There you go making predictions again.
What sanctions? Our 75 are better than your 85.
Nah O-line is going to be good to.
Yeah, against PAC-12 defenses, but against two top 20 picks in the NFL draft, they will struggle.
This is the question that needs to be answered honestly. We have a stout run defense but the pass defense was sorely lacking. If the pass defense is improved I don't see anyone beating us.Bama and LSU's passing attacks don't really scare me though. Now FSU is another story.
Every team thinks this... until they get punched in the mouth by an elite D, e.g., Bama, LSU, FSU, UF... not the defenses in the Pac-12.
I'm not saying that USC isn't loaded on O--they are. But I don't think ANY O can put 40 (forty) points on a Bama, LSU, FSU or UF D.

Have you seen them struggle?Nice speculation though.According to your logic Bama is just going to roll your O-line then right?
Shhh.... don't give the game plan away...
Don't like Rammer Jammer? Probably because you just lost to Bama... Get ready to hear it again... and often...
One of the most unsung aspects of USC's offense going into 2012, will be our 2 TE formations. College defenses, including Bama, and LSU will have serious trouble trying to deal with that. There is just so much you can do from an X's and O's standpoint to get mismatches you want with a 2 TE formation. In addition it aids in pass pro as well. This is an offense on a much different level than anyone.
Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken
Doesn't matter. SC doesn't play big boy football and would get rolled by the likes of LSU, Bama, and even FSU.
You guys haven't played a defense like LSUs, Bama, or FSU.
Anybody can score 40 a game in the PAC 12.
You haven't seen a pass rush from the likes of FSUs or LSUs in several years.
Its easy for Barkley when he has 8 seconds to throw the ball.
Bama practices against a 2 TE everyday as it's part of the offensive package...
Not the same type of athletes that can cause those mismatches like USC has. It really is an issue, especially when you put both TE's on the short side, then have Lee and Woods on the wide side of the field. Put extra db's in, get pounded by the run. Keep your base D in, and the play action and/or straight drop will be there. It is a very, very tough combination of scheme and talent that your D will not remotely face until you see USC. Hopefully this happens. USC vs LSU/Bama is the game that everyone wants to see.
So you're saying your TE's are like ours lol?

Bama runs a different defensive scheme and is more tuned towards stopping the run than rushing the passer.
Bama is good no doubt but to say they would just have their way with us is some extreme hyperbole. We have just as many horses as they do trust me.We're a pass first team anyway with a GREAT pass blocking O-line.Do you see what I'm getting at?
Yes that is why USC's record against out of conference and bowl teams has been so poor over the last decade.
