I already know the NBA is fixed..but watching the Olympics it seems way to obvious. First the NBA's team somehow steals the first pic and gets UniBrow. But now they send there #1 pic to the Olympics to train with the best players in the world? You can't tell me there wasn't a whole line of other NBA vets that wouldn't have gone over him! And all the other draft pics are playing pick-up basketball in Rucker park and this guy is playing with LBJ and Kobe.
No I did not lose a sig bet, but I am really really really ridiculously good looking.
pretty much all of the american big men were hurt. If Howard, Bynum, and Griffin were healthy he wouldn't be on the team.
also, he's really really good ,so its not like he's that out of place on this team he is a real talent.
Name these vets then.
Dwight - Injured
Bosh - Injured
Garnett - Probably would have turned down the chance to play
Bynum - Unreliable both health wise and maturity wise
Hey Trojans, LSU's 74 are better than your 75.
I mean it is not like any of the top big men are healthy.
He is good, but it still shady. What about Hibbert? Hell they could have got anyone to play the last minutes of blow outs but the NBA's #1 pic?
I could name more US big men.
Aldridge - Injured
Cousins - Immature
Randolph - Formerly immature, will never be fully trusted
Monroe - Lacks the defensive value Davis provides
Also the decision to take Davis was made well after the NBA sold the team.
Hibbert plays for Jamaica. There really were no other big men to play. He is the best available.
A lot of the other healthy bigs play for other countries.
Hibbert wanted to play for team USA.
