Yes you can borrow on PC. Unless the game was downloaded digitally.
And these system that PC have implemented are so easily circumvented they are not even worth mentioning.
My guess is these consoles will be hacked and it will be the same deal then.
Bottom line is this will hurt sales badly for both consoles.
What about the rumors that PS4 will require a constant Internet connection just to play games. That is just stupid because many live where that is just not possible. So they just cut their consumer base down even more.
Consoles are already on there way out according to many industry analysts and it appears these companies are doing everything they can to expedite the process.
Please, if anything(nothing is official yet)...it will be just like PC, you have to sign in every so many days ot keep it active.. borrow on PC with hacking counts? Yea the used PC game market is thriving..you need the activation code or tied to a account
and they are prediciting consoles are on their way out due to increased gaming on cell phones and tablets, set top boxes etc..do you trade and borrow those games?

There are a few different reports that it will need a constant Internet connection. Of course it is just a rumor like all of this but if true it is beyond foolish.
People that live in rural areas don't even have their consoles connected to Internet.
Over the last 10 years Sony and Microsoft's game divisions have lost a combined $10 billion dollars. I don't see this new set of consoles helping them dig out of this whole.
You miss the point. If you buy something you should own it. If you own something you should be able to do whatever you want with it. If I want to sell it then I will. If they do all of this you will never really own anything. What happens 10 years from now when PSN or XBLA may not even exist? Then you will not even be able to play the game. It is greedy IMO. If game developers want us to keep games and quit trading them in or buying them used they need to quit making the same damn games. Make a game that is different and makes me want to keep it. I probably buy just as many new games as anyone on here but I also buy some old games used.
No one is stopping you from selling it if you bought it new. It stops the people that buy it used from owning every aspect of the game. Once again your points are bad.
Trying to argue the ownership value of something you buy new when it is NOT CHANGED?
Will you have the full versions of any if the Call of Duty games or any other shooter in 5 years, no online will be gone. What about PC games with online activation? Same thing
Any offline based game you buy such as a role playing game with extra content for those that buy new will be downloaded where you can transfer and back it up
I bought my car five years ago, if I sell it, should the new owner be able to use the radio?
Time and change will surely (truly) show

anyway, time to move on, I have my thoughts and you all can have your opinion. Did not mean to get out of line on anyone
Back to talking about games..whats everyone playing
I need to pick up AC: R.
I actually really liked it and thought they made some good improvements even if they were small.
Assassins Creed 3 looks like it will change a lot of things but for the better. I am really excited about it.
Closest Gamestop toe is about 30 min each way now. I want to try AC:R but should prob dig up AC2 & finish it first
NBA 2k12 was a waste if money.
You don't like great basketball games?
I like basketball games that don't have 1,000 fugging button combos. Pointless to make it as difficult as it is for people who haven't played the franchise ever.
NBA 2k12 is great.
Much better sports game than Madden or NCAA.
False. NCAA is the greatest evar!!!
I like FIFA a ton. Not too difficult yet very advanced. NCAA will always be my favorite though. I'm a UFC fan too.
NCAA is a terrible game IMO. Animations are stiff. Players don't react realistically. I can go on but I won't.
MLB the Show is the best sports game IMO.
I'm partial to NCAA because I've played it since the early 90's. The new UFC is very well put together. Not a baseball fan btw. Top Spin is good too!
People blindly buy NCAA every year and that is why they will not improve it. They don't have to for people to buy it.
I could do the same. 6'4 WR's that won't jump as high as CB's. Anything thrown remotely by a LB is batted down. Missed blocks on outside runs. No blocking up front. The bubble screen is worthless. You can't put a man in motion as a QB in RTG mode etc etc. Until there is an alternative I have no choice.
Agreed. EA is not even a top 10 developing studio IMO yet they have rights to the best (or what would be) games out.
