WTF is guild wars?
I have heard of it but I don't know a lot about it.
I don't follow MMO's at all.
Dear god don't let EA hear you say that.
$20 for some stadiums. If they know people are willing to pay that there is no telling what they would charge for real DLC.
EA is the absolute worst at trying to milk their customers dry.
Time and change will surely (truly) show
How firm thy friendship ... OHIO!
I buy a lot of DLC but rarely for sports games. Usually nothing worth buying.
I would probably buy some old baseball stadiums on MLB like Ebbets Field and the Polo Grounds. That would be cool.
I think then and Activision are neck and neck as far as evil corporations go with M$ not far behind.
Seems like the old MVP baseball games did but that was before the invention of DLC.
DICE is right there as well. Them selling the servers did it for me.
Ahhh KOTOR. I have been begging for a new one for years. Also loved Star Wars Battlefront 2. Such a great co op game.

DICE is owned by EA so they don't really have a say in the matter.
A lot of people were begging for rent a server so I don't have a problem with it at all.
Blame Lucas Arts for killing Battlefront 3. That game was very far along in development and looking very impressive before it was cancelled. Lucas Arts has become a joke.
Battlefield two was awesome. My parents got so mad at me when I packed my xbox in my suitcase w battlefront on a vacation and when we got to the hotel I had it set up and playing before they got everything into the room. My friend and I beat all but 1 level on the hardest difficulty.
This. I've been hoping for years and years for a new battlefront 360 game. I guess it just isn't coming though.
Apparently, there's a new Star Wars game franchise being unveiled this week and at E3.
i hope so. i got excited a few months ago when IGN released an article about a new Battlefront, then come to find out it was almost finished then they scrapped it.
Force Unleashed doesnt even compare to Battlefront or KOTOR.
Wonder if we'll get the official release date of the Mass Effect 3 DLC with the real ending.
Force Unleashed was pretty average.
KOTOR is far and way my favorite Star Wars game and just my favorite Star Wars story period. Better than the films.
Maybe I will finish it then.
I don't know why but after a while I became very disappointed with the 3rd game. Just something seemed off about the tone of the game. I never felt that true urgency like the entire galaxy was relying on me.
I really enjoyed Jedi Knight II, Shadows of the Empire, and Rogue Squadron, too.
After reading a Bible's length of discussion and theories on the ME3 "ending", I'm convinced that this never was the intended ending and that EA forced a time schedule on them that wasn't doable. I mean, the DLC is free and the devs have been pretty smug about the whole thing. That, and I just want another reason to hate EA.
yeah they kind of left that feeling out. even tho you had to go convince all these people to help you.... the ending just sucked ha, ill leave it at that.
I liked TFU, but being a Star Wars nut, I didn't necessarily like the story as it seemed to introduce some enormous plot holes, but oh well.
I concur that it wasn't in the same league as those you mentioned. One Star Wars series I wish would get "updated" is Dark Forces. Played the crap out of that as a kid and would like to see it with the updated technology available.
They have a lot of really good xbla games released every year that I like. I am really looking forward to Deadlight and Trials HD was a lot of fun. I usually count console exclusives like The Witcher 2 since I do not have a good PC that is capable of running games and that Microsoft Studios usually chooses to put most of there games on PC anyways where Sony does not. Microsoft released more than people realize it is just lately there has been too much focus on Kinect and the PS3 is kicking its ass in triple A game releases. As far as Ryse goes if they make it a regular game that uses the Xbox controller with Kinect something optional like the Skyrim update it will be one of my most anticipated games but if they make it a Kinect game I will have no interest at all. As far as PS3 goes I am looking forward to God of War Ascension, Sony Battle Royal, The Last of Us, and whatever the developers of Heavy Rain announce.
I really hate exclusives especially with a new generation of consoles about to come out and there will be no way I will be able to afford both consoles at the beginning and it will hurt missing out on games. Even with the Wii U coming out I will want to play the new Mario and Zelda games and I will probably not buy it and save up for whichever looks best between the PS4 and new Xbox which as of right now I have no idea which I will choose.
On one hand I sort of agree but then again exclusives tend to be some of the best games released because developers can really focus on one console and fine tune it.
That's why I don't bash systems. Both have great games and both have things that make them better than the other. Nothing more annoying than fanboys who bash one just bc they have the other.
