Oh, I thought we were talking about Icon again.
What's kill confirmed? I always play domination or headquarters.
Kill someone, then you have to go get their dogtags that they drop. If you don't pick up their tags, the kill doesn't count. I think its 25 points when you kill them, and then 100 points when you pick up the tag. It forces people to be active, or there is no way to win.
Went into Gamestop today. Fairly large line. They had a "The Last of Us" video right beside the register playing over and over again. Game looks out of this world good all the way around. Guy in front of me gets up to the counter, and says "When is that game coming out"? Register lady said expect it around March. He said... And I quote..."Graphics don't look as good as COD, but it looks like it could be a fun game".
Me and the register lady gave each other a WTF look while he was pulling his card out of his wallet. We both wanted to smack him upside the head.
I've almost lost all faith in humanity after that moment.
Worth a shot...
Game Informer spoke to CEO and president Cevat Yerli about where Crytek is going forward, the studios free-to-play focus, and his thoughts on the current state of the gaming.
As we all know, TimeSplitters 4 is long overdue. Free Radical collapsed in 2009 and has been bought by Crytek UK which have since left TimeSplitters 4...
Time and change will surely (truly) show
How firm thy friendship ... OHIO!
I didnt preorder the game. I'm guessing they have enough copies.
I have officially lost faith in humanity.
I gotta say, I'm having a pretty good time playing Kill Confirmed. I'm dying a lot, getting some kills...Its fun.
I'm that guy that will risk his own tags to pick up a fallen teammates tags so the enemy doesn't get them. That is how I have always played. Same in Battlefield. I will risk dying to revive a teammate.
I'm the guy that would piss on your ashes and take your gun.
Kill confirmed is my favorite game type in cod.
Hey Barny, you won't have to worry about OP foreign weapons, and weak US weapons. There isn't a single US made assault rifle in the game.
Type 25 China
FAL OSW Belgium
SMR Not sure
You are good to go Barn Barn.
I assume the M8A1 is a futuristic take on the M4A1?
The M4A1 is made in the USA, right? So why wouldn't the M8A1 be if it is indeed a "child?"
Not sure on that. I tried searching for the M8A1 but couldn't find anything on it outside of CoD stuff.
I don't think there is a real gun called the M8A1.
I assumed, as you did, that it's just a "child" of the M4A1 in the future, but the M4A1 is American made... why would another gun in its line be made in Germany?
Can anyone give some halo4 vs bops2 insight, debating on buying 1? Tia
FSU -->----->> The Unconquered Uprising
Black ops 2 is awesome. Only played multiplayer for about an hour but its cool.
What you eat, don't make me shit.
I've only started on halo but it already feels like the same old game. Granted I wasn't a huge halo fan before, but after playing 2 missions and 2 special ops I don't have any desire to try the online game. Same guns, same vehicles, feels like the same everything.
I'm sure cod is about the same as well, but I actually enjoy that game. I am going to send halo back. Just trying to determine if I want to try online multiplayer first or not. I probably won't because I can't stand the jumping around crap.
I like it a lot, but the maps seem really small.
Aren't they always really small? Or are they even smaller than usual? I can't even imagine that if so.
I would say Black Ops had slightly bigger maps, but not by much. Some maps are bigger than others.
The M8A1 is a 4 shot burst gun with a very high rate of fire. Think a mix between the MW2 Famas and the G11 from Black Ops 1 (but a 4 shot burst rather than 3).
"I was brought in here to change the culture. I'm going to coach with passion" - Fran McCaffery.
I also think the maps are more open than MW3. I couldn't stand a huge majority of those maps and that's why I returned it within a few weeks.
Just ordered the Hardened Edition off Amazon. Comes Thursday.
Anybody here played Zombies yet?
I've heard from multiple people that it is hard, stagnant, and is a huge letdown.
Thats depressing to say the least.
Been watching the roommate play Black Ops 2. I haven't bought it yet, and probably won't be getting it. Tbh, I really don't see how it's any better/different from the original Black Ops. Campaign still looks like a mediocre Michael Bay movie (seriously, what's up with the Reznov idol worship? He was cool in WaW but let it go already). AI is crap. Characters annoying, predictable. Online looks the same with a few class setup tweaks.
I get the idea that no successful game changes very much between releases. And Black Ops was definitely a success. But this honestly looks like the same game that was shipped 2 years ago. No structural change. That's not always bad, but usually when there's not very much change, the developer waits at least a few years between titles, or addresses the flaws of the previous title.
I just don't get the hype.
