I really hope Sony actually tells us something about the PS4 Feb. 20 besides just announcing it. I am tired of reading about rumors.
It won't be until later in the year.
I have to believe they will reveal the specs and maybe even some games.
If this is true M$ is dumber than I thought.
Word on the street is Killzone 4, which I know was mentioned in this thread last week, and a couple other possibilities will be part of their show. IGN and a few other sites have a source they aren't revealing leaking they will have something to show us besides announcing the new system. It would be stupid of them to not show something besides the new system. Not to mention it will get the ball rolling for this years E3 and set the internet a buzz with facts to debate rather than these rumors everyone is sick of by now.
I've got something to say! It's better to burn out than fade away!
My dream scenario is they reveal Gran Turismo 6, Uncharted 4, and Killzone 4.
Also announce that Planetside 2 will make its way to PS4.
Those are the three biggest possibilities, it makes too much sense for them to not announce at least a few titles.
Little Big Planet 3 is a strong possibility as well.
Guy at gamestop believes it might have something to do with the Vita, and not the PS4. Told me he expects another late launch like last time, possibly a year after X box. He wasn't the normal guy I talk to there, so he might be full of shit.
He's full of shit. Ggamestop employees always are.
Time and change will surely (truly) show
How firm thy friendship ... OHIO!
Yep. Sony isn't going to have a big stand alone event for a handheld that has been out for over a year.
Just wanted to let everyone know, if you preorder Crysis 3 you get Crysis 1 for your XBOX 360, PS3, or CPU. (originally, Crysis 1 did not come out for console and it only came out for CPU. But y'all probably already knew that.) If you're a console gamer, this will pretty much be your only chance to ever get Crysis 1.
With who would I need to pre-order?
Three W's In My Life: Ward, Weinke, and Winston
I did with gamestop and they told me I'd get Crysis 1.
I already own Crysis but still a nice bonus.
Some kind of MMO.
I think that the new Metal Gear Solid will be a launch title ad well. I really want the 4 things I mentioned though. Within a 4 month time period after launch. The Show on PS4
The show on PS4 will be amazing. One reason ill have to get a ps4.
FYI preorder bonus for the show at GameStop is 12000 RTS points. Preordered it when I picked up ultimate alliance 2. Which I'm really enjoying.
That's road to the show? Because that's quite a few points...
I pre ordered at Gamestop as well. Pre ordered The Show and GoW Ascension. March will be fabulous.
Bioschock: Infinite too which is my most anticipated.
Yep. $9 worth of points.
I have the original Crysis on my Xbox 360 right now. You can download it on xbla and psn. This is still a good deal for those who do not have it though.
Yes I think most gamestop employees just want the next gen to wait. With all of the rumors of no more used games they have to be a little concerned about there jobs. At first I believed the rumors about the next box but now it just seems too stupid for even Microsoft to do. It sounds like something a Sony fan boy would post. If they are true though I agree they are stupid and I will not support them. I am honestly just sick of waiting. It is making it hard for me to enjoy the games left on this gen while I am constantly awaiting the new one.
Asked them about the pre owned deal as well. He said that they would offer a percentage of pre owned sales if it came to that. I do not believe Sony will do this.
