Not sure if it is because I haven't played a Resident Evil game since the PS version, but RE5 is killing me right now.
Go Blue and Go Titans!
So Colonial Marines got atrocious reviews. Was really looking forward to it, too.
Damn, I wasn't really planning on buying this but I expected more from Gearbox.
Looks like we might be getting another game in the Arkham Series this year.
A Warner executive said that a new installment in the Batman Arkham series is expected this year.
Was just about to post this. I'm excited. Wonder which way they will turn next.
Three W's In My Life: Ward, Weinke, and Winston
I am only excited if Rocksteady is developing it. There seems to be some speculation that they are not developing it.
Yep. Don;t know how I feel about this.
This is the rumor going around.
[Update: According to the rumor mill, Rocksteady won't be involved in this one. According to my Twitter feed of random people saying random things, the less-spectacular Spark Unlimited may take the helm. Hmmmm.]
Warner Bros. has confirmed a brand new Batman Arkham game in development, and said the followup to Rocksteady's critically acclaimed series is due out this year! CFO John K. Martin revealed the project in an earnings call this week.
"We expect [digital home video revenue] to grow close to 20% in 2013," he said. "And we also have a strong games release this year, which will include the next release in the Batman Arkham franchise."
Yeah ... I'm excited.
What will this game involve? Will it be the rumored Silver Age prequel? A more direct sequel? Will we finally get ourselves more Scarecrow? Hopefully we see something more solid very soon!

Im thinking DLC. We would have heard more by now if there was a 2013 release. They starting hyping Arkham City way out from release.
I doubt it. This would actually be about right for an announcement.
My guess is WB wants to keep the money train rolling and Rocksteady wanted to work on something else. So this is how it is going to be. Sad state of affairs for video games.
BTW Cooter the Skyrim DLC rolls out today for PS3. You going to be downloading it?
Of course. Downloaded the patch yesterday for preparation. Don't know if I will download it today, but I will this week. Hard for me to play Skyrim on the weekdays because I hate playing for just an hour or two.
It got a 4.5 on IGN and Gamespot.. That's pretty much as bad as it gets.
That's awful... I actually thought about picking it a few months back... Screw that now.... Just counting the days to Bioshock.....
One week till Crysis 3.
Only games I'm really looking forward to are Tomb Raider, Bioshock, and GTA. I have interest in Metal Gear, Crysis 3, and Gears of War but not overly excited.
Skipping Crysis. If I had PC I would get it.
Waiting for The Show and God of War.
GTA and Bioshock def. I will get Walking Dead too I haven't looked too far past Q1 for games besides GTA.
Of the games that are coming out this spring I am getting Crysis 3, Bioshock: Infinite, GoW, MGS Rising, and Tomb Raider.
Don't forget about Gears of War: Judgement and Army of Two: Devil's Cartel.
Neither of those interest me personally. I am sure I am forgetting something though.
I played Walking Dead and while I enjoyed the game, I thought it was very overrated. Sure, you make harrowing choices, but those choices don't really have a huge effect on the game.. Not to mention there is 0 actual game play which takes out much of the "fun" aspect of the game.
I guess Gearbox only handled the multiplayer of the game, and outsourced the rest. According to speculation, and rumor. However, Pitchford did say there were a number of developers involved, and said each company handled anywhere from 20-25% of the total game.
I've got something to say! It's better to burn out than fade away!
I'm talking about the Walking Dead: Survival Instinct game that hasn't come out yet. I think you play as Daryl and its a shooter.
Gearbox outsourced some of the DLC for Borderlands and we saw how well that turned out. Maybe they need to start doing their own stuff.
