seems silly they justified getting rid of those things because they went back on their other ideas. give one thing, take one away. not a good business model.
an article a month back said xbox was trying to go the way of steam, where you had a license for the game, not the game itself, and they were hoping it would lead to massive sales like steam has. i think that would be awesome.
Yeah, at most over the course of the first couple years of the console's life cycle they'll introduce some of those policies back. I would be upset too if I was going to get an Xbox One which promised digital library options and lost them because Microsoft doesn't see a need for them without their restrictions. Especially considering we just found out how Sony's digital library will work, and that it will have some of the functions fans were promised with the XBox One originally.
I've got something to say! It's better to burn out than fade away!
Yeah, seems unfair and dumb for them to take away the features people wanted because they don't feel they can police them. It wouldn't go the way of Steam, at least not for a long time when it comes to sales. A big part of why steam works the way it does is because of indie developers and self publishing. Since devs have to go through Microsoft in order to publish costs are higher for games overall, or rather they get a smaller profit because they have to go through Microsoft for publishing. Sales wouldn't be as easy to pull off or as drastic a price cut as they are on Steam. It really is a bit of a stretch due to the different business models behind Steam and the Xbox.

The only thing that sucks right now is the decision to play KZ or BF the day of release.

my dilemma is do i want to take a risk on KZ because I've never played one, and i dont really want two 1st person shooters. or do i go with watch dogs or fifa. BF4 is definitely in.
Definitely buying both. KZ: SF looks like a reboot of the franchise. Different time, weapons, abilities, ways to play the game.... I will enjoy the single player and multiplayer for sure.
Battlefield 4, I won't even touch the single player. I'm pretty sure it will be the first game I play on my system, along with the rest of the tBB:WC. I will also purchase a server if that is up and running from day one, which I think it will be. Getting a server going early is key. When everyone goes to bed, that is when I try out NBA 2K14, FIFA 14 and Watch Dogs.
I don't get people who say they won't even touch the SP in games. It looks like DICE is trying to craft a decent story. I'll definitely play through it at least once.
DICE never even made campaigns in 1942, Vietnam, 2142, or Battlefield 2. It was just multiplayer. They tried their hand at campaigns with the Bad Company series and then Battlefield 3. All terrible. Killzone will be a fantastic campaign. That is the single player I will happily play. Battlefield is built only for multiplayer. Its just how it has always been. Nothing wrong with it.
Killzone SF gameplay.
I though Bad Company was pretty damn good. The writing was pretty good and funny. Not many good SP games set in "modern combat" so I root for them whenever I can.
Alright, who can I play L4D2 with?
Me, Mountie, Aussie, Toupher, and Vexerr all have it. There are probably more, that is all I know of though.
I liked the MoH campaign from 2 games ago. Never played the one that came out recently.
I played all of the MW2 campaign.but couldn't get into the rest.
Just started last of us... Beginning scene was intense! The graphics and detail is incredible as well
Dive for the thrill, shoot for the kill.
I just bought. Was only $5.
With all the Marvel Heroes screen shots, I figured it'd be a good idea to post a screen shot of Curgans Chivlry character.....
Time and change will surely (truly) show

I got my revenge the next round. We were teammates in both rounds....
I'm spending way too much time on these side quests in Witcher 2, lol.

Bought it. Haven't received my download link yet.
Amazon messed up and listed ps3 as like $60 last year so I ordered one, but then they sent out an email saying it was a mistake and never sent me one :-(
