I think there were references to 'the rape crew' in the assault video. I have not watched that though so I can't confirm it.
I think it's just shameful that a kid had to be the one to say that, and not either of the two assistant coaches of the football team who came into contact with this situation during that night.
Not to mention that those coaches were having parties where alchohal was being served to minors, and the girl was obviously not in control of herself. Just a complete moral break down all the way around. Nobody stopped it. It wasn't being done in secret, it was wide out in the open.
There's simply so much blame to go around. The fact that people at the party didn't stop what was happening and then let the guys take this girl with them when they left the first party is just disgusting. I can't imagine standing by and letting a girl get violated like that.
I honestly have to say that there is very little that people do to each other that surprises me anymore. I have no problem believing that that girl knew what was going to happen to her "friend" and went along with it.
The one assistant coach looks horrible. The other one... it really doesn't say why they went to his house only that he told them to GTFO. I also wonder if he saw the girl or if they left her in the car or something. Lot's of oddness to this story.
Cody's mother must be very proud of her son. Dad must be a real peach.
You got that right
If you look at this from a macro level, it sure seems this type of behavior is not seen as uncommon among those in the community: coaches, players, parents, etc.
That observation makes me think there are probably more incidents that have gone by and never gotten any news. I mean, how can one be apathetic or flippant abt a girl being raped?
That little punk needs his ass kicked, along with anyone who participated in or condoned this horrible situation. I only hope the officers that questioned the punk in this video made him piss himself in fear.
The night of partying at the high school level, at different houses (including coaching houses) is a major red flag. Lack of parenting... poor job of supervising by the coaches... terrible.
I agree. The internet has bought out the worst in humanity & given the lowest of the low a platform.
There is no way any one of these little pukes would leave my sight with anything less than a hole in the head, but that would probably be too easy. Do you folks remember a POS named Jeffery Dahmer and what happened to him in prison? I have a feeling the these pathetic wastes of skin are going to find out someday....
Two Steubenville high school football players accused of raping an allegedly drunk 16-year-old girl were found guilty by an Ohio judge on Sunday.
Glad to see these kids get kicked in the nuts.
Time and change will surely (truly) show
How firm thy friendship ... OHIO!
Typical future osu teammates.
Fairly certain you wouldn't want to start applying all the stupid shit that happens in Texas to UT.
Not taking anything away from what happened or saying that the verdict should have been any different but what was being reported before about "vicious gang rape" and drugging her then passing her around at parties seem to be grossly overstated. Am I missing something or were the original reports exaggerated?
Sure. We have as many idiots as osu. I just enjoy being able to give you guys some shit. You do have the nastiest, crudest, rudest fans anywhere. Now Michigan, they are nice decent folk, unlike you guys. Go ahead fire away.
The football team deserves the death penalty for this season if such a thing is possible.

There's a fine line between acts that should be reprimanded by the justice system and then there's shit like this this that should be punished much worse. Fuck heing "humane" they lost that title already.
Girl that got drunk and high to the point she couldn't walk needs some blame too.
Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.
As a very close friend of a girl who was repeatedly drugged and gang raped as a teen, this girl was lucky she was unconscious.
I'd be more than happy to oblige. Lowest of the low, these kids.
