Auburn recruiting is admittedly getting next level in the right places. We both have talent and with Alabama finally getting the offensive talent that it lacked on D, and AU on D that they did on O we are going to be seeing some big time talent across the board in the Iron Bowl.
Eat clean. Train Hard.
Yup. Linebacker has been the position recruiting-wise that had been ticking me off, but this year's LB class is just what we needed. Our d-line is going to be sick this year and for the foreseeable future.
TURDS ALL UP IN THIS MUG. /// "2010 Auburn Tigers, my favorite team. Unbeaten in all ways." -- Dan Wetzel, April 4, 2013, 6:29 p.m.
Dare I say we finally have a QB that finally allows for a passing threat. This state is boiling over with talent at the collegiate level right now. Love it.
Alabama, needs talent on offense, the average score of the iron bowl over the last five yrs is 28 to 16 bama. i would say we have both O and D, yall need a little work in both area's i would say. i dont see it changing any time soon. over the last five yrs bama has scored 31 points per game and given up 13 per game. auburn has scored 28 points per game and given up 23 per game, iron bowl scoreing is 28 to 16 bama's way. we have had both O& D in the game
Having a better defense allows your offense to stay on the field longer and more often...
When you don't play but one top 50 offense, your o gets even more chances like your team last year
That and TRich being so injury prone.
He had his knee scoped after the season....
Totally made of glass.

Maybe just my opinion but I think they have been pretty big last three years considering the winner also won the NC.
i told you guys, but all y'all did was laugh.
moohooohaaahaaa i am all knowing
I agree. I honestly can't wait. There are a few types of fans in this rivalry. I'm the type that doesn't especially care what Bama does, except for the Iron Bowl. Do I feel a slight sense of enjoyment when Bama loses? Sure. Do I feel a little jelly/butthurt when I see Bama holding the crystal? Sure, although it helps that we got one of our own.
That said, I can't wait because in the foreseeable future, we're going to see Iron Bowls between really good teams on both sides, with the winner going to the SECCG and possibly the NCG most of the time.
Should be fun.
Huddles are for rookies.
Trying not to troll, but Auburn recruiting has pretty good for a while now..

Only for a few years, really. Tubs signed a few highly ranked classes, but a lot of those guys never made it into school.
Even still, we dominated the Iron Bowl in the early 2000s and are 1-2 since hiring the coach that has ignited our recruiting.
So, I don't see your point.

How am I supposed to know a lot of those guys never made it to campus? It's not like I follow everything Auburn.. All I know is Auburn's had some great classes recently.
Congrats on Reuben Foster, btw. He looks like one of the best LB'ers I've ever seen.
With the talent on both teams, I look for the state of Alabama to represent the west in Atlanta for the next few years.
I Believe Auburn and Love IT...4 Life!
You should prepare yourself to live with the consequences of your decisions, whatever they may be.
Little brother needs more than just RF to catch up defensively
This is how every thread begins to fall apart. With the little brother crap or something similar. Let's see if we can keep this one on the up and up. And by the way our two deep is gonna look pretty good this year and I think a few teams are gonna be surprised by our D.
What range are you thinking the Auburn D will be? Top 15?
I don't think top 15 is realistic. I think the experience gained last year will lend to a top 25 D, if health is on our side. I believe our Dline in particular will be a dominant force this year and will provide alot more pressure than they were able to bring last year. As you know that can cover up alot of ugly spots on the rest of the D.
Hm. I think maybe a top 15, (maybe top 10?) run D might be possible, then. I'm a Saints fan in the NFL, and because of that I know all about Van Gorder since he was with the Falcons.. 3 out of the 4 years he was with the Falcons, they had a top 10 rush defense. He's a good DC, you'll be happy with him.
Jesus. You can't call a spade a spade still. You go through cycles I have noticed. You call it like it is for a time then you do your aub crap like this. Every single offense we played last year had every single one of their categories drop because of our D last year. Stop being a douche

2009 was a moral victory for aub. they count it in the record books.

Arkansas was the only team in the top 50 on offense that you played.
