No Lance Armstrong love. People still mad about the roids or something?
Three W's In My Life: Ward, Weinke, and Winston
Guy is the sack leader...and was a 3-4 DE. Unreal.
It has to be eras. How can you say the Federer can beat McEnroe when Johnny Mac was using wooden rackets?
How can Tiger be better than Jack when Jack was driving with tree bark as opposed to titanium?
I think it has to be of their era in all sports. It evolves, changes and most importantly, the rules change. Imagine Marino with today's rules??? He would throw for 7 grand a season.
Best baseball player of all time? Argument ends with, imagine Babe Ruth on steroids.
Greatest cyclist of his era, no question. Everybody else is doing it, too. Not greatest all time due to better conditions with bikes, gear, training, etc...
LT was the most dominant defender in football, to date.
LBJ could go down as the greatest professional athlete in history.

"LBJ could go down as the greatest professional athlete in history."
Focus on the word athlete, and the word could.
I know i think Jordan is a better athlete his vertical leap has Lebron by 4 inches..
I think Gronk could be considered the best TE in history if he manages to stay healthy. However, I think he will miss too many games for him to be considered. His stats are ridiculous though.
43 games, 2,665 yards, 39 TD's.
.... imagine hank aaron on steroids? it doesn't have to be era's, it's my thread corch

Current players, as in not retired and banging 15 yr old prostitutes
Tiger woods is without a doubt the greatest golfer still playing(talking career not just right now).... that being said, he is still a phil Mickelson Major total behind Jack.....
He is banned from competitive cycling, he is not a current athlete, he is retired.
uh Wayne Gretzky has to be on this list. Its the easiest name to add to this list and there shouldn't be much debate. Only 2 or 3 others can even be mentioned in the same breath as him.
There is probably a chit ton of current athletes banging 15 yr old tutes. We just haven't found out yet.
wayne gretsky isn't a current athlete, he is retired.
how could I forget martin brodaur?
