IMO that is easily the best offense in america

fsufsu said... I've got about 10 great stories on Lane but all you need to know is he will never be a loser, that's for sure.
I think I was fair on who they " should have gotten " too
Cooper was a Miami NW kid, they rarely leave the area
Watkins was bought but Miami blowing nuts made it easy for him to take the money and run off the Clemson, he was a Cane fan growing up and most knew that
Collins was turned off by sanctions, even his own momma couldn't keep him home... if Miami is good with no sanction threats... Collins is a Cane today
Man, its scary to think of how good that offense would be.... then again Coley might fail at developing it
But that WR core is stupifyingly good, and thank god it didn't happen
Makes you wonder what's really happened to the greatness that was .
Three W's In My Life: Ward, Weinke, and Winston
Not to sound like an ass, but I think its pretty obvious why they fell off
Miami made a brand name for themselves in the 80's, and that brand pissed off the NCAA and even the heads of the university
They put the breaks on their antics and made the place less appealing to the kids that surround its campus ( aka the best football talent in america still )
Add that with an unwillingness to spend money on staff, and you get a model of inconsistency
Stedman Bailey could have been on this list too no?
IIRC they didn't offer him so I wouldn't add him TBH
No knock on Bailey, but that offense was what Miami could have realistically gotten
They don't ever sign all the South Florida kids, but that offense was guys who would have been at Miami had circumstances been different
Plus if they signed all those WR's, its even more likely that Bailey never gets an offer
IC, but agree awesome offense
Jessamen Dunker, Nick O'Leary, the white LT from Dwyer, Quentin Dunbar, Gio Bernard
Am I doing this right?
I feel like none of those would have picked UM, Bernard wasn't offered by them IIRC
Plus this is a list that would be the offense for 2013
Nick never seemed to like Miami that much as I remember it
No use crying over spilled milk
Ahhh, got ya.
Teddy wanted to play for a Brother, even after Golden begged him to stay and we're still Butthurt over Cooper can't even get mad at the kid he said "he always loved Miami but too much BS at the time"
Yeah I know, but really it wasn't about playing for a black coach imo
He picks Miami if Golden is entrenched as the coach then and Miami was showing signs of life with no NCAA cloud over the program
Bullshit. Teddy Bridgewater is racist and it's not spoken about because he's black. If a white kid said, I'm playing for Muschamp instead of Sumlin, it would be national news. Teddy Bullshitter signed up for one reason and one reason only...color. And that makes him racist.
I call it like I see it.
I believe Matt.Jones grew up a UGA fan
I never thought we were ever on Matt Jones radar
You would be wrong
He was all Cane growing up, I remember him talking about the Canes vividly as a sophomore in HS which is around when I found out who he was
Kinda of wish Watkins was at miami
Would make winng the acc that much easier
No one cares what u think u dumb sob. Go walk in traffic blind folded.
Nice list good thing we have ninety percent of the guys listed.
But 0-3 on the elite players
Boom. Yeah, I've said that I believe they will win a title again but it's going to be a program that averages 10-4 at best during 5 year stretches due to those issues.
I would say Duke is elite.Jury is still out with Flowers and Coley
No the reason we've sucked is because of our last two coaches and how do you know what Miami coaches get paid they never release salaries?
Duke is not on the same level as bridgewater, watkins, and cooper
Don't think Coley is either
