A defensive battle or an offensive shootout?
For me, I'd rather watch a defensive battle every day of the week.
Football, but I guess it could be taken as a general question.
If we're talking about all sports, I'd go:
Football - defensive
Hockey - defensive
Baseball - offensive
basketball - offensive
soccer - offensive

I prefer a happy medium, but if I'm forced to choose, I want a shootout. Would rather watch a game like Arizona vs. Nevada (49-48) as opposed to Bama vs. LSU (9-6).
Sometimes defensive battle means offensive ineptitude.
I thought the bama/LSU games last year were awesome, don't see why people were so butthurt about the repeat.
Defense for football and it's not even close
Defense for football. Same for baseball, I love a good pitching duel.
I think Defense for all major sports. (Football, Baseball, Hockey)
11 National Titles | 42 Conference Titles | 3 Heisman Winners | 78 All-Americans | 37 College Hall of Fame Members
Mud and jello wrestling, I am good with either
I dream of a day when chickens can cross the road without having their motives questioned.
If the teams are actually good then defense. If they aren't then offense for sure.
Offensive shootout because it is more exciting.... but i would hope that the D's are good and the O's just cant be stopped.
