Scoot having crabs doesn't surprise me in the least.
Just put the turkey in the oven prepared with sage butter under the skin and stuffed with aromatics. The usual sides prepared in the family tradition.
Just six of us, my four plus my "adopted" daughter and her husband. We're USC he's a PSU grad so it's kind of a "sanctioned" event.
Looks like another perfect day.
Roasted Turkey with Maple cranberry glaze
Broccoli Cheese Casserole
Dressing (more of a dressing guy than stuffing guy)
Mac & Cheese
Green Bean Casserole
Banana Cream Pie
Key Lime Pie
Deep fried turkey, smoked turkey, stuffing, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, some kind of bread, green bean casserole and whatever the rest of the family brings with them.

No giblet gravy for this coon ass. Also friend brought a hog he shot Monday, so we cooken that too
I'll never understand the mac and cheese thingy for a big holiday dinner...we served it when we were poor struggling students..not for holiday fare.
Yes, I know, I'm talking about the homemade stuff, with real cheddar cheese, not the boxed crap. Still not a holiday side dish.

have a happy thanksgiving
The mac and cheese was made by me, for me mostly. I'll share if they want some, but I made it mainly for myself.
Stupid question. What is burlen crab?
Urban 2 Hoke 0
I just assumed he meant boiling.
Cajun smoked turkey, broccoli casserole, sausage cornbread stuffing, grilled corn on the cob, green beans followed by pumpkin cheesecake
Burlen means boiling, get with the program Yankee
Our guests brought mac & cheese and other sides.
I'm down with it.
Tacos and spray cheese.
Go Blue and Go Titans!
Yeah not sure why anyone would knock mac & cheese. One of my favorite all time foods. I might not be the most expensive meal out there but it doesn't make it any less delicious.
