Just saw that Dixon decommitted seems to be happening a lot for Pelini and staff. Thoughts on Pelini's job safety at Nebraska. Why are these kids jumping ship and how many kids have you had decommit this cycle? Are we talking USC sinking ship or minor leaks?
Considering we have 24 or 25 commits still, this is nothing like USC. Decommitting is becoming commonplace all over, not just at Nebraska. Just look at Foster
What is the general thought of Pelini among Nebraska fans? Do they think he's the guy to bring them back as a major national player and its going to happen, or is his act beginning to wear thin?
I think he's getting better. IMO I wanna see how these last two classes pan out before deciding about Pelini. Our fanbase is 50/50 on whether he's the right guy. Personally I wanna see how he does with a non punt-passing QB
Understandable. I would imagine that the biggest frustration is that he's a defensive coach and his defenses have not been anything to write home about the past few years. As far as the QB goes, Martinez is so electrifying. That scramble in the championship was epic. His passing seems to have improved, but it still just doesn't look right and it looks like it still has a ways to go.

Dixon is back on board maybe. Nebraska's class looking great imo. Bo's best yet on paper were our last 2. We'll continue to own the legends division.
You've won it once in two years, the year that pretty much everybody sucked. I wouldn't quite say you "own" it.
They're giving you that division. Moving 3 of the big 4 to the east.
Fine with me
When he called Bo he probably told the kid he hopes he tears his ACL.
Good with that move. But who's the big 3?
Then fanbase is 50-50
Pelini is a young coach who didn't understand the recruiting landscape when e arrived. He has improved in recruiting but there is still room to grow.
I think he is improving. The big game blowouts are concerning but I think as recruiting gets better so will the defense. The defense has no where near the talent Bo had when he was hired.
He seemed to turn the recruiting corner in the 2012 class. If his recruiting continues to improve I think he will have job security for as long as he wants.
Teein' Off on Links
Nice. That kid Walker is going to need it. Just watch
We refer to the Big 4 being Neb, PSU, UM, and OSU. Sometimes we refer to Big 5 which adds ND.
UM, OSU, and PSU are all going to the east from what I've read.

Nebraska 2013 De-Commitments:
Christian Lacouture: Played at Odessa (TX) before enrolling at A&M Consolidated while committed to Texas A&M. Decommits from A&M, moves to Lincoln (NE) after committing to the Huskers. Decommits from Huskers, commits to LSU.
Marcus McWilson: Major connection to the program was then Graduate Assistant Marrow. When Marrow took a full time position with UK, McWilson's commitment was supposedly solid. As time wore on, that relationship became more and more relevant. Ultimately, the loss of Marrow cost Nebraska McWilson and possibly JUCO TE Beau Sandland. Marrow's departure is still a pretty polarizing topic for Huskers.
Dominic Walker: Visits in late September, commits in late December, decommits late January. I personally find it hard to fault the kid -- He went to a place closer to home. That said, his handling of the process could have been better and that's what draws Nebraska fans' ire. I'm still not a believer of Bo's reported comments. Maybe a homer, but that's the first time we've ever had a recruit report something so negative of this staff.
Tre'Vell Dixon: Here is his timeline. Look over it. Nebraska commit. Secondary Coach leaves for LSU. Decommit. Nebraska OV. Houston OV. Nebraska commit. ASU OV.
Sorry -- I'm not pinning Dixon on the staff.
Kids wanna get out of tOSU's path IYAM...
Nebraska is no place for the weak of heart.
Kids wanna play in the postseason IYAM....
