You side-stepped my trap and I'm pissed, no +1 for you.
About 13 miles outside of Detroit while my kids are in school. From memorial to labor day a little town called Saugatuck. I also hang out in a town called Manistee in the summer it's also on lake Michigan. I won't leave Michigan. My parents have a place in California in hemet and split time seasonably. I'll stay in Michigan all 12 months, even when I retire. A week in those places that have 12 months of summer is good enough for me.
Live: Tulsa, OK
Want to live: Portland, OR
Live bham. Love it.
Would live: north Georgia mountains (fly fishing) or rocky mts (fly fishing)

No you don't...smh
Oddly You are talking about GA.... didn't notice that
I am talking about FL...one of these things is not like the other, My bad.
I dream of a day when chickens can cross the road without having their motives questioned.
Pretty area, lots of blue hair though
Pretty sure Philly is the only dump on my list. Columbia is a great little city.
Saugatuck is a great place to vaca!!
Don't let the haters tell you any differently..-
Went there for an outdoor wedding, and aside from flying on the puddle-jumper, keep saying we want to go back!
Still love the coasts, tho-
Im from white co... What hs did you go to?
I don't know about "haters", but I do like it there in the summer. It's an unbelievable eclectic group of people. You have very conservative right wing Dutch Reform people, and you have your gay community, and then youhave the tree hugging hang out at the red dock hippies. Great music, fun night life, 5 star restaurants. I wouldn't live anywhere else in the summer. My family and I love it, from water skiing to just hanging out.
live in Oxford,MS now but from Grenada(directly between Memphis and Jackson) if i were to leave the state it would be to south Louisiana

Beautiful late February morning in mid Michigan.
Live in Jersey City and like to live in Jersey. I'm a 3 minute path ride to the greatest city in the world, 45 min from the Jersey shore, 2 hours from AC, 5 hours from Boston, 1 hour and change to Philly, 3 and change to Baltimore and 4 hours to DC. I can hit the Pocono mountains to ski in less than 2 hours or head up to Vermont and get there in less than 6. Plus, 20 min from Staten Island (best sandwiches on earth) and underground poker games in the city all the time. Sports are everywhere here as you have Islanders, Rangers, Devils, Giants, Jets, Knicks, Nets, Yankees and that minor league team the Mets.
Another benefit imho is the change of seasons. I LOVE the foliage in the fall, the snow in winter, the blooming buds in spring and the warmth of the sun in summer. I wouldn't be able to live somewhere say like Minnesota where hot is 70 degrees or Florida where cold is 70 degrees. I desire the change of seasons... I wouldn't know what to do without that "football smell" if I lived in the south and people in the north know what I mean... It's incredible.
Jupiter/Juno Beach, Fla. is my Shangri-La
National Director of Scouting & Recruiting Analyst
South Carolina. Born and raised. Lived elsewhere. Travelled a lot. Very happy right where I'm at.
If I had to move and assuming money isn't an option.....
-A beach. Somewhere tropical. Edit: just read the great white thread so to hell with the ocean
-Maine seems nice. Vermont too. Laid back. Not hot. Lots of syrup.
-CA. So Cal to be specific. Maybe Malibu? Georgeous there. Water is too damn cold so I'm not worried about sharks.
NYC- would take some getting used to but Manhattan is amazing.
Compared to what?
Ahhhh. The fresh cut grass on a cool fall morning. I've lived in Iowa my whole life. The changing seasons always give you something to look foreword to. I've vacationed all over the country but there's not anywhere I would rather live full time.
would live in Boston or NOLA if i had my choice but i've got a family business i love that will keep me in MS
$50 bet with Rebels10 - Best of 3 Egg Bowls
