What's the latest on Elliott? Sounds like his visit to Mizzou this weekend went well and maybe this one was a bit mishandled by the Bucks in terms of recruiting other RBs when they led Elliott to believe they wouldn't.
"While Elliott was at Missouri this weekend, another big time running back named Dontre Wilson was visiting Columbus. A source told USATodayHSS.com that Wilson's visit has caused a little tension between Elliott and Ohio State.
The new offensive coordinator for Mizzou has also thrown a wrinkle in to Elliott's decision. Mizzou has told Elliott that Josh Henson's offense will be more tailored to the running back than in years past.
Stacy Elliott, Ezekiel's father, says his son's head is spinning and he is slept the entire car ride home.
If he were to flip, we expect the decision to come before National Signing Day on February 6th."

Was he dreaming of corch urbs while sleeping in the car?
Isn't Wilson supposed to play WR?
He'll be a Buckeye... Ask Henry Poggi's dad where he thinks his son will end up
If Wilson goes to OSU, he's a WR.
Losing Elliot after being committed for so long and this late would sting quite a bit, but I'd be surprised to see him flip.
Time and change will surely (truly) show
How firm thy friendship ... OHIO!
That was a nice deflection. I can see that Buckeye fans can read the writing on the wall.
As a guy who considers himself as a mature buckeye fan I say in all honesty that Elliot is all buckeye just like I was confident that Green was blue. The Wilson kid is being recruited as a reciever in the same role that Corey Brown number 10 plays where he does everything from catching to running sweeps.
Also just wondering with the whole Poggi and Albama situation is it just a visit or are they upset with your guys coaching staff? What's going on? I still see him being blue but Hoke needs to fix the problem if there is one.
doesnt a similar story come from every hometown paper after a kid committed out of state visits the hometown school?
i would only be concerned if this was a school outside his homestate
I actually agree with you. If Elliot's best two options are Missouri and Texas then OSU would be the obvious choice. As far as Poggi goes I don't think that anybody knows for certain what is going on. If Poggi is on an official then I guess Michigan might be looking for another DL player. However, if Michigan loses Poggi I think they should just bank the scholarship rather than waste it on an option C player. Michigan's DL depth is in okay shape so losing Poggi would be a loss of talent more than a loss of depth imo.
We are in the dark on the Poggi situation like everyone else. No one really knows what to think at this point. It's a bit like the EE situation in that if Poggi was going to reconsider his commitment he should have done it much earlier. Waiting until less than two weeks before NSD would be a douchebag move, so we are sort of hoping the story that this is more of a business/social visit turns out to be true. But we really don't know.
Elliot's all Buckeye.
