Which of the top 32 players for the 2014 class do you think your team will land? How confident are you? What is your reasoning? I think Ohio State will land the following:
8. S Jabrill Peppers. 40% sure. He's from New Jersey and has named Stanford and Ohio State as his top two. I think that he will be blown away when he visits tOSU and with Urban recruiting him, the Buckeyes will be hard to turn down.
10. RB Jalen Hurd. 60% sure. He's named Ohio State as his leader. I think it'll be hard for any program to get him to change his mind. Urban closes the deal on this one, IMO.
13. LB Raekwon McMillan. 90% sure. He's recruiting fellow Georgia kids for Ohio State even though he hasn't even committed yet. He's been a huge Buckeye lean since his official visit during The Game and doesn't hide his feelings at all.
29. ATH Marshon Lattimore. 99% sure. One of his boys just committed to Ohio State (Marcelys Jones). Cleveland Glenville is Ohio State's biggest in state pipeline. He camped at Ohio State and visited during 3 games in the 2012 season, including the 26-21 victory over UM. He might play the waiting game like many Cleveland Glenville recruits do, but in the end, he's a Buckeye.

I'm not ready to say any are even close to locks, but I think Michigan has a good shot with Malik McDowell, DaShawn Hand, and Jabrill Peppers.
I think Michigan could become a major speed bump for Meyer recruiting Peppers. It's been said he grew up a UM fan and idolizes Charles Woodson. However, since he currently has tOSU in his top 2, I feel we have a decent shot. I think Urban is one of the very few recruiters who can close on a kid that grew up rooting for an archrival. Again, I'm not too confident we'll get the kid. I might even be less confident than the 40% I listed. However, as long as he holds tOSU in such high regards (and we have Urban Meyer recruiting him), we have a chance. This one will be interesting to follow, IMO.
3 stars on paper, 5 stars in our hearts!
Lattimore is a given and McMillan seems likely, but it's really hard to get a good judgement on Peppers and Hurd this early.
OSU won't have a five star by 247's standards in this years class, so 2014 the law of averages has to kick in right? Isn't that how stats work?
OSU seems to have a good shot with Cliffton Garrett and he's right outside five-star status.
Time and change will surely (truly) show
How firm thy friendship ... OHIO!
Scarborough and Humphrey 95% sure we land both
Fournette right now id lean LSU, but I think it will be 50/50 for awhile.
After Kamara commits to Bama, I'll put Carter at 80% Bama.
Tony Brown will end up being an LSU/Bama battle as well. I think Texas schools will appear, but LSU and Bama will be his Top2-3 the whole time
"Rock" Thomas will be a 5* before its said and done, and he is all bama.
We also have a legit shot at Andrew Brown, but im not sure about Hand. He has visited and is very mature i think, which leads me to believe he will give everyone a legit shot.
And i think we will be on Damian Prince's short list as well
For USC the only two I can think of now are JuJu Smith and Adoree Jackson. I'm sure there are a few more though.
Possibles Blanding, Carter, Michel, Daub
For Miami: Sony Michel, Dalvin Cook will be a 5*, Kc McDermott and Ermon Lane.
I think Oregon has a good chance to pull Adoree Jackson, even though he goes to a USC feeder school.
What makes you think that?
Cook is not going to Miami especially after the NCAA drops the hammer, he stays with Clemson
LSU is the leader or co leader for
Fournette-confident he'll be at LSU 75%
Cameron Robinson-confident but not as much as before. Goes to LSU feeder 75%
Edward Paris-he's playing the game a bit now. I'd be suprised if he isn't at LSU 85%
Tony Brown-I think Bama's in it but in the end it comes down to TAM/LSU because of his sister and her track ambitions. Not as confident as I once was but our ties land him 55%
Laurence Jones-LSU/Bama battle. If we weren't on and in such good shape with so many top end S prospects for '14, this one would be a no brainer. Still think Diarse and the Neville ties land him 60%
Not many of the others in the top 32 I think we'll even pursue.
Just because a kid says his a certain school is his favorite, that doesn't mean he's going there. I remember James Ross said his
Favorite school was OSU as a kid. Damon Webbs favorite school was Michigan, Gareon Conleys favorite school was Michigan. There are many many more examples of this.
Because he has said that he is high on Oregon and that track will play a big role in making his decision..
This was posted on our board last week from his twitter
"People wonder where I'm going to college ? Well one word ... TRACK . Big factor on me committing"
I can see ND atleast in play(top 3) with Michel, McDermott, Hurd, Luatua, and McDowell but don't think we're leading for any of them...I feel good about Clifton Garrett but he's just outside top 32.
Blanding and Andrew Brown are pretty good bets. We are also in good with Jamil Kamara who may become a 5 star.
Tony Brown will be an A&M/LSU battle
We're #2 for McDermott and the only way he gets away from Miami is if they get hit hard. Elijah Hood isn't 5* yet, but I think he will be, only 1 I'm confident about. McDowell and Peppers are 2 we have good shots at landing.
McDermott is all Miami, it's already over
He almost committed last week, it's over
Like I said the only way he doesn't end up at Miami is if you guys get hit very hard.
What a ridiculous ass thread
What a completely pointless comment. If you don't like the subject matter then move on. Nobody else is bitching about it.
