Not gonna say the "next Adrian Peterson" but many of the professionals(including on this site) have said he's the closest thing to him they've seen. When asked to compare Fournette to someone, most always come to AP. The kid's special. Size, speed, power, vision, quick feet and great hands. Also to this point he doesn't have any of the injury history that AP has.
Injuries have kept Peterson from being one of the all time greats to this point. He's on his way but I'd stop short of calling him that just yet. 2000 yards doesn't qualify one for all time great status. Chris Johnson ran for 2000 and he's nowhere near an alltime great.
As a recruit, I agree, he's the best prospect coming out since AD at RB; however, it is absurd to insinuate that he will be a better college back than DMAC/TR at this point, much less close to AD.
Recruiting analysts are comparing Fournette to AD. The same guys you pay 9.99 a month to.
Saying someone has similar style, and calling some "the next AD" is completely different.
DJ Williams. Look at John Madden's quote on him...
It's over a year till signing day and some of you people are confident you have some 5 stars all but locked up Smh
Didn't mention style. They stated "best RB prospect since AD"
