Teein' Off on Links
South Carolina will be near the top of the list soon. Taylor, Clowney, Quarles, and Sutton will all be drafted. Just sent Ingram and Robertson.
As a state SC produces unreal DL talent. They're finally staying home.
Impressive list OP.
A better question might be who does less with more nfl talent than lsu??
2 MNC's and 3 appearances is pretty solid, don't you think?
Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.
Montgomery will be better than most of those dudes from SC
Seriously, Kyle Williams is the best NFL player on that list.
Lots of schools put out a ton of DL, but Troy has them beat in terms of quality.
Osi with the Giants and Ware with the Cowboys.
Next big name is Johnathan Massaquoi with Atlanta. Should be interesting to see if he can earn spot in the 2-deep next season.
Probably better than Taylor and Sutton, but Sutton is still in school. Clowney is better than Montgomery, and Ingram was too. Robertson and Quarles are DTs.
LJ's Current NFL players (PSU):
Cameron (Derek) Wake
Plus Jordan Hill this year.
Anthony Adams use to be in there too.
Most of those guys were extremely high draft picks.
Does he have a gig right now? I thought he was out of the league.
Nope, but it appears that people don't care how they do in the NFL as long as they were drafted highly, so I think he deserves a mention.
Is that the ENTIRE school history or just since Saban got there?
I will give you Texas but lsu isnt far behind.
At least Texas has some in state recruiting competition.

LSU has a top 3 resume for 10 years now.. Can't ask for much more than LSU has done.. Hell even Miles has 5 or 6 10 win seasons. Just stop
Wow, VERY impressive.
I guess the answer to my question is since Saban has been there.
Tough to say I'm sure.
Oh, well if that's the case, the list should be:
Anthony Adams (2nd Rd)
Michael Haynes (1st Rd)
Jimmy Kennedy (1st Rd)
Tamba Hali (1st Rd)
Jay Alford (3rd Rd)
Aaron Maybin (1st Rd)
Jared Odrick (1st Rd)
Jack Crawford (5th Rd)
Devon Still (2nd Rd)
Cameron (Derek) Wake (Undrafted but is now a sack-leader)
And Jordan Hill to come.
Boom. Thanks for putting that list together, I was far too lazy.
UGA has 10 current DL - most in the NFL
With three set to be drafted this year
So to answer the OP I'll say that PSU is the answer to the question. They're the only team who has two current pro bowlers and did have a bunch of dudes who got drafted.
PSU has produced the best DL and LB
We have Turk McBride, Albert haynesworth, Robert ayers, parys haralson (linebacker end hybrid), Dan Williams, Shaun Ellis, and Justin Harrell in the League now. Dan McCullers , and possibly darington sentimore will be in the league shortly. We certainly have had a ton.
Butch Jones. Who???
Iowa has a good number of them in the NFL. Clayborn, Babineaux, Klug, Daniels, and Ballard.
The best one is from Wisconsin: JJ Watt and it's not even close.
used to be FSU. weve fallen off lately but should be back near the top soon. weve got 5 going this year and have at least 5 more waiting in the wings who should make rosters that are currently on the team for at least another year.
LSU is far and away the leader right now though.
weve only got 5 right now and only 3 start.
