You do realize that our foreign embassy in Libya was attacked on the 11th anniversary of 9/11 by terrorists where 4 Americans and the ambassador were killed. The Obama peeps have tried to sweep it under the rug right? Oh yeah, Obama also hates Israel. Romney could show up hammered and naked except for a beer helmet and win the foreign affairs debate.

No, the numbers are not right; not even close. I believe there were 30+ companies that received money from the govt guaranteed loan program and 3 have filed for bankruptcy. Romney mentioned that Tesla was a "loser" company, which makes absolutely no sense.
I thought Romney won the night. Obama was far too soft, seemed tired and off his game.
I'd like to see Romney give more details on his plans.
And a moderator who has some control over the proceedings would be nice for the next debate.
What about the 90 billion number? Obama didn't have a response to that and the jab about a bunch of those owners being Obama's golf buddies
If you didnt walk into the debate a huge obama partisan, you dont think he won. Obama has had his inspiring moments in the past but MR walked all over him tonight.
I'm sure something around that number was allocated for loans. However, it isn't free money. It was simply a govt guaranteed loan, with the idea to jump start the industry and help small, innovative businesses. Some of those businesses didn't work out, but that also doesn't mean there weren't technological advances made with the money they received. Also, there were republican and democrat donors who invested in companies that received the loans.
Romney was completely wrong that Obama could have hired 2 million teachers with that money. That would have only covered their salaries for a single year (at 45K per teacher, no benefits of course). But then the 90 billion would be gone and there would be 2 million teachers without jobs.
Romney was also off in his comments about Obama and doubling the deficit, amongst other things.
They should 1910 through 1950 was way more important then it will be now. 1917-1918 entered the first world war which killed 116,516 US deaths. WWII 1941-1945 killed 405,399 US deaths. This isn't even close to the most important election. From 1910 to 1950 this country went from a private country to a super power country. Went form one of the lowest we could be like the Great Depression to being at least the top two countries. One with Russia. This election isn't even close to half of those elections. I've heard promises for the last 6 years at least not much of it really mean much.
I do want to know Mitt ended his speech with that he will not cut the DOD. (this is only a question for the actual republicans) Considering how much the DOD controls how much of the government could they cut without cutting some of DOD. Be honest I am close with DOD>
Sorry, but when the government guarantees hundreds of millions of dollars of loans to a business that has zero chance of success because there is no market for its products anywhere close to the cost of production, that's about as close to giving away free money as it gets.

Romney will win every debate and hopefully enough Americans watch and he'll win the election. How can he not? What part of Obama's record can Obama say , "hey look at the good I've done here"? Literally nothing.
I said our lifetime. Were you alive or of voting age during those elections?
Chris Matthews was even admitting Obama got slaughtered, and his is about the biggest faggot on cable television.
Romney and its not even close
Mr. "Tingle up my leg" was probably on suicide watch. He seemed on the verge of saying "WTF was wrong with that son of a bitch?" David Axelrod was on the Today Show this morning whining about how much time Romney spent preparing for the debate. When did being properly prepared turn into a bad thing?
Based on attitude and tone, Romney was the clear winner. Based on policies and actual debate, both did a decent job outlining their policies without really going into too much detail. We still don't know the details of Romney's tax cut, but he kept insisting it was not a $5 trillion cut. Romney had to come out swinging and the President could play it safe, but he played it too safe. This will probably wake the President and his team up to be more aggressive in the next two. It's still too early to say that this debate will have any significant impact when there's two more to go (plus a VP debate). If Romney continues this pace, then it'll be a close election, but this was Romney's bread and butter debate as it was on the economy. Obama needs to come out more prepared in the next one and read like an actor like Romney did. He needs to turn it back to issues that Romney is hurting on: women, minorities, and class division. I was shocked he didn't bring up the 47% issue last night. There were so many times when Romney kept talking about helping the middle class that I was sure Obama would deliver that punch, but it did not happen. I'd expect it to definitely come out in Biden's debate and Obama's next one though.
Not sure how Romney will address the 47% comment, but there is probably nothing he is more prepared for than for Obama bringing that up. Obama brought up Obamacare being crafted after Romney's plan in Mass. Romney loved that and went into depth about it being a state program, and state's being more effective and efficient at taking care of their own.
There are some things Obama can't overcome. He is eloquent and well spoken with a telepromter in front of him. Off the cuff, he looks like a completely different person.
Same goes for Romney as well. He's a great reader and he read his lines very well last night. He clearly had a set of answers that he delivered perfectly. But he's also has been preparing for this for years and Obama looked very rusty. I expect him to be very well prepared in the next debate though.
The townhall set up will be interesting because when Romney goes off script, it gets a little dicey (e.g. $10,000 bet). They are both better debaters than people believe, but not world beaters either. Pretty even match IMO.
I think Romney came out with some pretty good lies about helping the middle class but his plan is a recipe for disaster.
If you don't know the truth about what Romney wants to do I could see why you thought he won, but in reality unless you're a millionaire, fiscally you should want Obama to win.
I assure you as someone from the other side of the aisle, I litterally LOL'd as Obama describes how he's interested in cutting the deficit. It all depends on where you stand.
Well, Chris Matthews is probably Obama's #1 fan, and he admitted Obama got his ass handed to him. James Carville is damn sure no Romney supporter and thought Romney embarrassed Obama. If you really don't think Romney won the debate in a landslide, then you and David Axelrod may be the only two people on the planet to believe that.
Well, the media wants a close race so more people tune into their channels to watch the next few debates. It wouldn't surprise me if they say the same thing for Obama in the next debate and then switch to Romney in the last debate.
I think Romney was more acclimated to the altitude in Denver than Obama was, and that had a big impact on the debate. ----Al Gore

So you are aware that
A) Romney wants to repeal Obamacare
B) to replace it with the same thing to be enacted state by state
C) Obamacare will actually reduce the deficit
So in other words Romney wants to do the same thing but spend more doing it, like a petulant child, rather than admit Obamacare is the best option.
How will Obamacare reduce the deficit?
Obamacare will not reduce the deficit, that is absurd.
How much will Obamacare cost people, cost companies, cause costs to rise?
Premiums are going to rise drastically due entirely to Obamacare. I work with my company's controller and CFO in obtaining health insurance for our company. I talk to insurance companies and executive weekly, if not daily. For the first time ever we will have to subidize the increases on our hourly paid employee health insurance premiums, beyond the normal contributions we pay. This is the response from every insurance company will talk to. The reasoning is Obamacare. 2012 was a substantial increase, 2013 will be significantly more, and when fully implement in 2014, it will be ridiculous.
That is what is happening in the real world. If you want to explain to me why what Obama says is true, and what is really happening isnt; have at it.
Romney says it is the state's responsbility to take care of their own, and they can do it more effectively and more efficiently. He believes the states should and can take care of their own. Your equate him advocating less reliance on the Federal government, and more personal responsibility for people and states, to a petulant child?
The #1 sign that Romney won the debate: Chris Matthews was almost in tears afterward
