It's cheaper for the government:
Good God smh
Looks like another perfect day.
Except states aren't taking care of their own when it comes to health care. It's not a perfect solution, but simply saying you're going to repeal it without acting on a federal level is not a viable solution. Especially since healthcare costs are expected to rise by 40% in 25 years.
Even David Axelrod doesn't believe it.

all of this
Lullz....Romney smashed Obama....Obama couldn't even look at him. Obama knew he was getting blasted the whole time.
That's funny. Before I posted that I actually thought about saying something to that effect. You are definitely right. Axelrod may have spouted a lot of ignorance, but I agree with you that even he wasn't believing it.
Romney manhandle Jim Leher too
Governor Romney, your time is up
Jim, jim.....I realize you're ready to move on, but The President made another dumbass statement that we all know isn't true, and I'm going to slap his punk ass down while you sit there and stfu.
Of course I'm aware about the attacks on the embassies around the world, but I didn't know that erased everything Obama has done to cut down terrorism around the world. That's one talking point Romney might have, and if he brings it up it will make him look bad imo, especially if Obama didn't run from it and admitted he made a mistake by not sending more security to the embassy. And if you really believe Obama hates Israel then it's not worth debating that whole issue with you, because you believing that is a solid indicator you don't know what's going on over there other than the fact that "Israel is only good, and Palestine is only bad."
You make me laugh.
Not a problem since you knew them all by heart anyway.

Spin what exactly? What in Romney's message sounded like he had a plan for our country? Cutting 20% of income taxes across the board, plus no reductions in spending on defense? And that is supposed to reduce the deficit? How exactly?
Mitt had the attitude and delivery, but very little in actual substance. If this debate was on the radio rather than TV, it would have yielded completely different results.
Really, it's okay. President Obama just wasn't prepared. It was his anniversary. The moderator wasn't being fair. Romney was talking over the moderator and President Obama.
The fact of the matter is this... Obama spoke for 4, that's right, FOUR more minutes than Mitt Romney. Yet, he actually said fewer meaningful words. He had an 11% edge on talk-time, yet Romney said 30 more words per minute. And Mitt Romney wasn't stammering like a fool in his first communications course.
President Obama was clueless last night. He met his match. He was caught in his lies. And then he was seen agreeing with Romney, on live television, while Romney caught him IN the lie.

Romney won handily IMO.
Hey, the math is too complicated to explain man!
Plus I thought it was funny he talked about creating jobs...then turns around and says he wants to trim the government and put thousands out of work.
Here's Obama's problem and its one he can't avoid. After 4 years in the White House, he can't run on what he's going to do. He has to run on his record. The deficit is larger. Housing is down. Unemployment is up. His sole campaign rests on what Americans feel about his Health Care reform. If Americans want it, he'll be re-elected. If not, he won't.
He literally has no other options. He can't run on terrorism being down with a Republican started the War on Terror. That's something both Republicans and Democrats voted for.
If enough Americans are paying attention, Obama is gone in November. Sadly, I think he'll be re-elected because Americans just don't give a fvck.
This isn't new though. Everyone knew this was a weakness of Obama's. He tends to act as a lecturer rather than a debater. And he did the exact same thing. He actually made very good points too in the debate, just as Romney did. The problem was that his delivery was terrible. Like I said, if you listened to this on the radio, it would have been a great debate. But watching it on TV it was a clear win for Romney. Doesn't mean he said anything that had any real value though.
What good points did he make for you to believe he's going to do what he's been unable to do in 4 years? Did he make good points about ways to create jobs? No. He was going to try to sneak his "green" jobs I there but a Romney cut that off when he said 50% of those companies have now went out of business after our government putting in 90 Billion dollars. Which good points are you referring to besides Obamacare, which you clearly support and that's ok. You're entitled to support it.
You are wrong. Next year when Obamacare kicks in, businesses will be forced to pay insurance for anybody working over 30 hours. That's $2000/yr per employee starting off and will keep going up year after year until it is $7000. That will cripple small businesses.
It will also shoot the little man in the foot. The way businesses will offset the law is by working hourly employees under 30 hours. Just think of how many people are going to suffer by not getting 40-40+ hours.
The thing he can say is the he inherited a financial mess. He can't run away from the deficit, but housing has improved and is actually up right now. Unemployment is down from where it was in 2009 and is slowly improving. His record is bad if you think that this financial mess is all because of him. But we know that it isn't and the fact is that it goes all the way back to Clinton deregulation that Bush enhanced. It's amazing that as a Democrat he can't run on the fact that he extended tax cuts that are the lowest they've been in 30 years without being attacked by Republicans for wanting to extend the tax cuts for the high income.
The fact that Obama might win with the way the economy is shows how weak Romney is as a candidate. Even if we disagree who's at fault for the economy, any President who's term is the mess we are in should not win. I think more Americans care, but you are unhappy because your guy, who isn't that strong, can't take out an incumbent who should be considering the circumstances. Welcome to 2004 for Democrats.
