My definition of meaningless points:
Extra points scored beyond that needed to win. Example: Bama only needed 15 points to beat ND, but scored 42. I guess I'm looking for dominance not blow out teams a la Oklahoma.
Ohio St... schedule will allow it.
That offense better dramatically improve for that to happen.

Ok Solomon Grundy.
I Believe Auburn and Love IT...4 Life!
You should prepare yourself to live with the consequences of your decisions, whatever they may be.
I'd say Oregon especially when they go for 2 every time.
You cannot count every single point beyond the amount of points needed to win a game as "meaningless points". You must also consider at what point in the game were the points scored. For instance, Suppose the bama vs notre dame game had been closer and bama only lead by one point with 10 minutes left to go, then they score a td and an extra point and end up winning 22-14. would you consider those last 7 points meaningless points? No.
Now say bama lead 22-14 with 3 seconds left and scored a td on the last play of the game to win 28-14. would you consider those 6 points meaningless? yes.
Thats why i think this question cannot be answered unti the season plays out.
That's why its hypothetical, bubba. Make a projection,
Auburn last year...
this one is easy
its Zona... offense puts up numbers... they need to put up fantasy stats to even be considered... easiest nonconf schedule in the country
underated post .
