you are as delusional as they come
If Obuma wins we will have economic and financial chaos. America will hit a major depression the likes of Spain. I will laugh so hard if Barry wins, it will slot America as the dumbest country in the world, marking the only place that will re-elect an embarassment for a country leader. people talk about America being great but their wont be an America left if Soetoro wins
Minorities have a voice? You mean like the one that got elected president 4 years ago?
Woman tired of fighting for their rights for the past 100 years? Please
A Romney loss will make a huge statement against them crazed evangelicals?
Reagan said it best. “The trouble with our liberal friends is not that they are ignorant, but that they know so much that isn’t so.”
Care to elaborate?
Delusional because I think every American deserves a vote? Would sure hope you're not saying that.
Delusional because I think Romney/Mourdock/Akin will all lose? Statistically speaking, that's highly likely.
Delusional because I think the Bachmann's, Palin's, Akins, etc... of the world have no place in Politics, but we need more John McCain's and Ted Kennedy's? We need leaders who can put aside partisanship and do what makes sense for this country, not what appeals to the uneducated masses.
Delusional because I'm optimistic Republicans will adapt to a more diverse voter population? Maybe... However, the Republican Party is currently 90+% white/non-hispanic. If you don't think the party needs to change to continue to have a voice, you sir are delusional. As of last year, minority birth rates were higher than whites and if the Republican party doesn't begin to appeal to those Americans, they lose (5 elections from now, they're all potential voters).
I hope you see that I would like to vote for a Republican, that I am hopeful the changes in the Party will lead to more fiscally conservative, yet socially liberal, moderates being swayed to vote with them in the future.
And I'm the delusional one???
Here's a tidbit. Non-partisan economic forecasters are predicting the economy will add 12 million job in the next four years despite who wins this election. The president is the leader of this country, but he's not a dictator, he can only do so much.
Either president wins, and its not doomsday...
Minorities have a voice? Not if Rick Scott has anything to say about it!
Women tired of fighting for their rights for the past 100 years? If Richard Mourdock gets his way, they'll be back in the kitchen for the next 100 years!
A statement against them crazed evangelicals? It's not like Romney enjoys a significant amount of support from people like Billy Graham who would seek to deny equality to numerous demographics...oh, wait.
If you honestly don't see any of the above as major, important issues in our country, you either have your head buried in the sand or are just a complete sociopath.
If Romney loses it will be because the far right made him go too far right to win the nomination.
Romney is a moderate and he dashed to the center once he got the nomination but he was so far right at that point that he couldn't quite get to the center
If the republicans put up a fiscal conservative who was socially liberal or at least promised to keep the status quo they would have 300+ electoral votes and it wouldn't be close because most people know obama's fiscal policies are what countries like France and Spain have already tried and they are giant failures
Obama will make the now a tad better for some and keep the stagnant economy in a stand still for a long time.
No, I live in the real world, and work there too.
You have no idea what companies do to provide "fairness" to minorities and women. I do business with companies that have to utilize a certain percentage of minority suppliers in state and federal contracts. In some areas there are no qualified minority suppliers. Therefore between us and that company, we basically pick unqualified minority suppliers out of the phone book, and simply process the required percentage of business under a purchase order with their name on it. We then send then a check with their cut every month. The owner's enitre responsibility is walk out to his mail box and get a check for around $7,500 monthly. And then, everyone is in compliance. That occurs in many instances.
Are far as women's rights, I've hired 40-50 people in the last 10 years. I think 5 to 6 of been guys. My current highest paid person is female, because she is qualified. The most I ever paid any newly hired employee was a female, because her qualifications merited that.
I do business with thousands of companies. I talk to a pretty equal number of men and woman, whether Presidents, attorneys, managers, etc. None of this will you ever understand until you pariticpate in the real world.
I think you just nailed it.
That wasn't a very Christian thing to say. I demand an upvote in lieu of an apology.
Bump for my upvote. Still waiting.
I am going to go ahead and forgive you for your hateful words, and have faith in you to do the right thing.
You called me a giant prick. Those words are hurtful.
And, I didn't ask for an apology, but an upvote in lieu of an apology. You can simply upvote me, come back in another post and say something like "hey, who upvoted that giant prick." And that will be like a code so I know it was you that upvoted me, and that will be our secret.
I just took the high road and upvoted you.
Well, when logic and reason fail, one has to resort to something...
BLF, you alright. Yeah, was being a prick and busting your balls. Just regular size though, not giant. Might actually get along ok with you after the election. Now CMXI...........ummmmmmm.......Baby steps for Smitty, baby steps.
All the "problems" CMXI listed only exist in the minds of liberals. It will always be 1960 to the Democratic Party.
Smitty is right. He's pretty damn smart. I am voting for Romney
Don't forget to stare at the picture.
Yall be upvoting? I love upvotes!!!
