BTW, I get bammers calling Cam $cam as putting down Auburn is their nature, but fans of a conference that can't produce a NCG participant without going on probation for it really should be a little more open minded. After all, Auburn was investigated and given a clean bill of health.
"So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth."... Rev. 3:16
Everyone knows cheating and paying players is only done in the SEC. Oregon, Penn St., Ohio St., Miami, UNC, and SoCal are just being held down by their own moral fortitude.
If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.
fsufsu said... I've got about 10 great stories on Lane but all you need to know is he will never be a loser, that's for sure.
Its just their depth annually thats tough to watch, after the top 2-3 teams everyone else in league seems to win 6-7 games

Yes I do.....and just messing with you in general.
I was hoping you'd see that post!
I'm very nice when I meet opposing fans face to face in my stadium, and I really don't take too much seriously posted here...just can't pass up the chance to be naughty and forget I'm a lady sometimes.
Are you making it out to see your relatives out here? You must stop by and visit our tailgate..and come back to fighton247..you really did venture there at a bad time....
Looks like aTm has backed away from their series with the Floats too.
LOL SEC and the wussification OOC schedules. All of your AD's pee sitting down.
Looks like the only team to keep their word is Tennessee traveling to Eugene.
"If this was a prize fight they'd call it off"- F ND!
10 to 1 they wished they didn't keep their word!
Did Kiffin schedule that game for UT? If so,
Tennessee and USC have a series later too.
2021 is a looooooong way off, Brother.
By then, UT will probably be in the WAC.
You cannot just list our (PAC-12) FCS opponents without looking at the overall OOC schedule.
In 2012, the PAC had 36 OOC opponents.
27 were other FBS schools and 9 were FCS opponents. That is 75% of our OOC opponents as FBS schools. I don't know what the percentage is for other conferences, but I would venture to guess that our percentage is the highest of any conference.
Also, of those 36 OOC games, 24 were home games and 12 were road games. At 33% of OOC games on the road, I would also bet that this number is the highest of the other BCS conferences.
By that time they will have realized their mistake and be forced to bring back Phil.
SEC played more away games and more FBS opponents.
Where the hell is that Bammy fan now?
It's fairly easy to go undefeated when you only play 8 conference games and of the 4 OOC games you play, 1 is an FCS school, 2 are non-AQ FBS schools and 1 is a weakling BCS school. And you play 8 home games and only travel 4 times.
Being undefeated means nothing unless you look at that actual games played.
Look back to 2008.
USC ended the regular season 11-1 (only loss was week 3 at Oregon State by 6 points). (OOC opponents: Virginia, Ohio St, Notre Dame)
Florida finished the regular season 12-1 (only loss was week 4 at home vs Mississippi by 1 pt) (OOC: Hawaii, Miami (fl), Florida st, Citadel).
Oklahoma finished regular season 12-1 (only loss was week 6 vs Texas by 10 pts) (OOC: Chattanooga, Cincinnati, Washington, TCU).
But, somehow the NCG was Florida vs. Oklahoma.
There was no question that SC was the best 1-loss team in the country. On the season, we pitched 3 shut-outs, had 3 more games where we only allowed a field goal and 2 more games where we only allowed a touchdown. There's no question we would have beaten Florida or Oklahoma or Texas in that NCG that year, but because of poll biased, we got robbed that season.
I'd say there's plenty of question. In no way do I see USC beating Florida in '08.
The SEC has 14 teams to the PAC's 12. And the SEC plays 8 conference games to the PAC's 9. So, yes, I would bet the SEC did play more away and FBS games. But, pure numbers can't be used. You need to look at percentages to give a true apple-to-apple comparison.
The PAC played 75% of our OOC games against FBS teams and 33% of our OOC games on the road.
What are the percentages for the SEC?
Rey Maualuga, Brian Cushing, Clay Matthews, Everson Griffin, and Taylor Mays would have eviscerated Tebow. One of the best defenses ever.

I'd say that USCleft's place in history is very much in doubt. Until more games are played between major conferences it always will be. To this day one of the biggest jokes I've heard was when people were telling me that UF had no chance against the speed of OSU.
The way I see things in my 50/50 hindsight is that USCleft did very well when led by a coach that skipped town as the NCAA came calling. USC is a traditional power that will show glimpses of greatness going forward as long as there are respectable teams out there that can challenge them in recruiting. Aside from them, Stanford and Oregon are pretty sexy right now. How long will Stanford's run last? Is Oregon toast now that CK is gone? Will Mora stay at UCLA beyond the next NFL offer? There just isn't enough going on out left to hang a hat on. What you guys need to do is beat up on Tejas or Oklahoma and at least have some reason to say that the PAC is legitimately, beyond question, the second best conference in the country. Until that point, stock up on Kleenex, because you will be needing it.
