What do you guys think? I think that if he were to ever join our staff or another school's, they would go on an absolute tear in recruiting, as every kid would want to play for the greatest LB that ever played the game.
It's All About the U
What does Ray Lewis going into coaching have to do with a kid wanting to play for "the greatest linebacker that ever played"? I would think parents would be more worried about their kid playing for a murdered or person who is friends with murderers. Maybe Lewis should go into private security?
Scored 4 touchdowns...in a single game. Polk High!
Intelligent response there. Yes, I do believe that Ray Lewis would pull in a lot of kids. He is the GOAT LB, so why wouldn't kids want to learn from and play for the best?
By the way, he was never convicted for murder. I realize that this is the constant joke, but it is getting old.
Neither was OJ. I guess he would be a great RB coach and would pull in a lot of kids.
There is zero correlation between being a great player and a great coach. Now high integrity people tend to have a positive effect on those they mentor...

Most of the players Miami recruits don't have parents that care. Real Talk.
The consequences for fumbling would be unthinkable
Classic homeboard post. FSU newbs have been saying that "if we hire Deion we'd land every five star DB in the land" for years. Ray Lewis will make more money elsewhere like in tv.
Just because you were a great player that does not mean you would make a great coach. Some of the best coaches in the game either never made it to the nfl or were mediocre in the nfl.
Very true... coaching and playing are two different mindsets
The man should be in prison, he doesn't need to be around kids or any non prison inmates.
Try church, Ray Lewis is more full of shit than the pope or any priest you have ever met... ever..... ever!
Seriously, when it comes to retarded morons who have been touched by the hand of god, it ranks Ray Ray #1 and Deion #2, and not many come within ten miles of these retarded faggots
fsufsu said... I've got about 10 great stories on Lane but all you need to know is he will never be a loser, that's for sure.
You know what isn't getting old? That guy Ray Lewis killed.
i'm sure Ray being a murderer wouldn't be used against him
I heard Angola Prison is looking for a new defensive coordinator
Yeah bc Ray was charged & stood trial for murder... Oh wait, no he didn't. Don't let facts get in the way though.
Golden is better then Jimbo... I feared it was true. He is going to hoist a crystal ball there - fsufsu
Oh god, here comes Lamp to defend his god praising hero
Turns out the best NFL linebacker ever, was just a little bitch who flipped faster than a 4 yr old to save his ass. Now that's courage and conviction.
I would not want my child to play for a murderer. It may just be me.
I would have done the same.
Just seems odd that a guy who built a career based on toughness and intimidation went that route. Especially if that guy was innocent
I think it's apples & oranges. I'm as loyal of a friend as it gets but if my friends did something stupid I wouldn't risk my a$$ to cover their poor decisions.
