No one really knows. Word was we were 50-50 yesterday with 4-3 and 3-4. Strength is with our DLine though. I think we have 6-7 seniors who have all seen action on the Dline
Okay I see a definite 8-2 record with toss-ups at Zone State, and Penn State.
Here is another awesome video. If you are are a recruit this is a must watch! 4-5 stars need to put Wisconsin at the top of their list, because we aren't letting go of being the best in the Big Ten!
Wisconsin Football's winter conditioning, the "1st Quarter" of 2013, wrapped up in early March. Here's what the Badgers have been up to as they prepared for the 2nd Quarter- Spring Football.
The way I'm looking at it is:
Will be Tough:
We get PSU and Northwestern at home. I see 1 loss, maybe 2.
Personally I think every game on our schedule is winnable. There wasn't a loss last year that wasn't close and you have to remember, we rested a bunch of our guys (Borland, etc) against Ohio State and Penn State last year to prepare for the Big Ten championship. Also word is that Curt Phillips tore his menisicus in his 3x surgically repaired knee in the 3rd quarter of the Rose Bowl when he ran for a first down, but after everything he went through, he wasn't going to tell anyone on the staff. Makes me mad that Stave wasn't in there, but the kid wanted to play, even with a torn knee.
I think OSU is a toss up.. Theyre pretty green at important positions along the line and I think our Defense this year is better suited against them. Also we should have beat them last year even when resting guys, if it werent for Bielema's clock management.
That's optimistic. Beating OSU at OSU is always difficult. If we had them at home, I'd be more inclined to think maybe we've got a 30-40% chance.
Either way, I think we have a 10-20% chance to beat OSU, a 60+% chance to beat Penn State, and an 80% chance to beat ASU. To me it adds up to 1-2 losses.
Since you are so good at recognizing embarrassment its amazing you dont see it everytime you look in the the mirror, Wisky fans say some of the stupidest things and have a ridiculous amount of confidence in their football team.. "Monte Ball is the greatest running back of all time" You get your ass handed to you in the Rose Bowl and have the nerve to talk about embarrassing? What an intelligent person you are, tell me how well you rep the Conference again by losing to a team like TCU.
Your optimism is laughable
You do realize that TCU ended the year undefeated and #2 in the country right? They also have a QB that is a starter in the NFL. Cant say the same about OSU since I can remember.
We beat Stanford if Curt Phillips lets it known and pulls himself after tearing his meniscus in the third Quarter.
And since I have been a fan (have witnessed 6 Rose Bowls, were 3-3) we have NEVER had our asses handed to us as you imply. You are one of the biggest homers on this board. You take more pride in taking shots in other teams than following your own, hence your handle name.
And you want to talk embarressing. How about the fact that Ohio State has NEVER beaten an SEC team in a bowl game?? You do realize that is the only reason why SEC thinks they dominate the Big Ten right?
no excuse to lose to TCU, poor to make an excuse about losing to Stanford... when was the last time you even went to a NC? Losing to the SEC has happened and I make no excuse as to why, OSU being a toss up game to Wisky is the dumbest thing you could have said. If taking shots means speaking the truth than so be it. Its a fukkin joke seeing morons like you continue to ramble on about winning the Conference the last 3 seasons and a bigger joke to think you will be in the same conversation as OSU this year.
edit: Celebrating a Conference championship from last year makes you sound stupid

that's kinda base.
both of those are pretty boring.
hahaha. You really think we have no shot? If I were a betting almost anything we win the Leaders division once again this year... Its funny how Buckeye fans live in the past. Don't like us being in the Rose Bowl? Maybe you guys should start winning games instead of talking smack. And dont give me your record last year. No one cared playing you as the game didn't even count. Your 12-0 last year counts as much as 0-12 two seasons before. Doesn't mean anything.
What you mean is that you are looking for your first legit Big Ten title since 2010?
Im sorry to have embarrassed you. Look deny it all you want. I'm fine with it. You come on here with stupid posts and I'm guessing you're hiding something. So finish your degree in theater, pluck your eyebrows and put in your favorite Cher CD and get pumped up and tell your family. I'm sure they suspected it all along

We didn't win it legit in 2011?
Don't feed the Wisky trolls.
BornToBeRed said: WPS, just a head's up. We might be the most family-friendly board on the network, so take it easy on your normal wps-ness.
He could at least make a decent effort.
And why is that?
OSU had a fill-in coach and PSU was comfortably in the lead before the Sandusky stuff went down. It was gift wrapped to Wisky. No one considers their last two Big Ten championships as legit.
Here's how effective you have been in this thread so far, you need to polish your skills bro

So everyone was elligible (and it didn't matter even if no one was since OSU finished behind UW anyway), and because PSU covered up a serial rapist on their coaching staff, suddenly UW's championship isn't legit? We tied with you in the standings and beat you 44-7, and had a better overall record. We were just clearly the best team in the division last year*.
People who want to call the 2012 championship BS, well that's cool. We finished in 3rd, lost to the top 2 teams, and anything beyond that is woulda-coulda-shoulda. I get that. And even though we crushed Nebraska (after losing to them in Lincoln), I believe OSU did too.
But we were clearly the 2011 and 2010 B1G champs.
