USC fans will adopt to ride the coattails of success and proclaim Pac10 dominance? Washington? Stanford?
Pretty amazing but the only team worth mentioning west of central Texas is Stanford.
Stanford is the best choice, BUT if UO doesn't get hit with sanctions, I'm not so sure that Helfrich won't have UO running right where they are now.
I don't think Kelly would have left if he didn't think UO was about to get spanked though.
Kelly is a great coach. Oregon will take a hit without sanctions IMO.
No, MJRuffalo will have UCLA is his preseason top five.
Dont overlook DickRod in the desert. He may not win the Pac title next year, but could see him doing in two or three years from now.
Well its the offseason, so they have at least 7 months before they are forced to choose someone other than themselves.
If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.
While OP is a Bama fan and it's quality speaks for itself, I do find it funny that an SEC fan would call out any other team/conference for riding coattails.
And I am not a PAC 12 fan.
He did have a pretty good initiation year last year.
The Pac 16 is up for grabs now for sure with the scholly limitations just now hitting USC. I still have more faith in this Helfrich guy than stache does though. There is no real reason for that, but I do think he's going to prove to be a hell of a coach. I guess time will either prove me right or wrong. I'll go on record that he will keep UO in the Pac 16 championship game on a egular basis though.
Doesn't hurt that he has a loaded roster to work with. A couple 10-12 win seasons and recruits won't even notice a difference. But one 6-8 win season could be the beginning of our end, imo.
Funny post from an SEC fan.
This only applies to USC fans really. They're known for jumping on Stanford or Oregon if they suck. I was just wondering what the plan was now that Chip Kelly is gone.
