BU v UCF and WU only ones left to play.
I can play now.
Huddles are for rookies.
I'm not sure if he is on. You will have to try contacting him through LIve
I can play you from six to 9pm anytime. After nine my fiance gets home and well....she gotta come first.
Understandable. You guys try and get it in tomorrow.
The guy who plays with cal is my best friend so I can vouch for him. He's gonna run curls on you if you blitz half the game and play off his receivers, thats simple knowledge. If you don't adjust you gon keep getting blasted with the same play or the same route. football is about adjustments. A cover 4 or cover 3 conservative would have kept him from that. But from the convo we had after the game, he pointed to the aggressive play of TA&M as to why he stuck with it. No one is going to run seven step drops when you blitz alot, this ain't the CPU. That's football, and if that can't be tolerated, then what are we playing for?
And while I'm here, the 4th and 22 on with tulsa from the 30 whatever. As he explained to me, his kicker sucks, and he has no faith in pooch punting or coffin corner. So, only being up by 4 (as he told me), i would have went for it to. And if that makes me wrong so be it, but I'm not going to concede to you because of a successful third down stop. The probability of him making it was as low as a punt or fg attempt. Either way, you call a cover four, or man coverage for that matter, and stop him short. I went for it on 4th and 2 vs tulsa around the same yard line because I needed the coversion. Is that against the rules or is their a certain down and distance where that isn't acceptable?
Just my two cent, tulsa played me without gimmics the first and second game, and I've know the cal guy since 07. These guys play fair, within rules. But what they do is make you adjust to their game style and not just pick plays out a hat and run them regardless of the opposing teams playcall.
Going for it on 4th and 22 when you are up 11 will not be tolerated. Sorry, just not going to do it. Either he can play by the rules or take a hike. The only way anyone should be going for it on 4th and 22 is if it is the 4th qtr and you are behind with not a lot of time left.
As far as the curls, I have no problem with someone running that. I do have a problem with someone running the same play 8 times in a row. That in itself will not be tolerated. FWIW, I'm not telling people to run seven step drops, but there are quite a few plays that can be ran against someone that blitzes non stop. I do agree that football is about making adjustments, but we are going to try and keep this thing as realistic as possible. If people don't like realistic, then they can go to the lobby online and find all of the cheese that they want.
And I will reiterate this one more time, I'm by no means being a dick but this dynasty will not get bogged down with cheesing.
Cool. I can play any time after about 5: 30 tomorrow.
Tulsa said the pic that was posted from the game is not a formation he's ever ran. I can vouch for that because I've played him online a few times and he only runs plays from one formation, plus he said in the pic he's on the 30 yard line and he would've kicked it from there to seal the deal.
Dawgs on Top!
Do you realize how dumb he is sounding right now? Dude would just make up a pic? C'mon man
They were both playing against a computer! The Michigan state guy didn't realize it.
I have a hard time believing that.
Just let him know I have decided to let him stay for now, but this is it.
Ok, ke knows. He wanted me to post this one last thing so here it is.
Also tell him to ask the mj guy if i started playing different after the 4th and 22 conversion. Tulsa probably started using a heck of a lot more formations which is a sign of a computer taking over. Also i played the comp and michigan state used the maryland i which he didnt use against me when it was really us playing. How would i know whats in his playbook?
Here is my thing...
I've played a ton of computer games and never has the computer flat out went for it on 4th and 22 up 11.
I'm gonna drop it now though.
Please just everyone try and be realistic
I had my doubts too but I do think something squirelly happened. If you look at the pic you can see the user defense player but here is no user offense player.... Def something to consider.
On another note, and I dint know how you guys are missing this, kicking in the game is WAY too easy. You don't have to have Janikowski as your kicker to boot a 50-55 yard FG or kick it out of the end zone consistently. The default kick power is way too high. You're not going to find many NCAA kickers that have that range in reality yet the game is filled with them.
This makes zero sense since the Maryland I is one of the formations I use the most. I always attempt to establish the run.
And no, never noticed anything different in the game, Tulsa kept targeting the same dude over and over. Robertson? Big WR.
I've never heard of a game cutting out and both people playing the computer, if there is a connection error the game is usually dropped all together.
I'm sorry your boy is mad that he lost, karma for his actions during the game. If I wanted to play against guys who go for it on 4th & 10+ all the time I'd continue to play ranked games.
How will the off season work in this?
Cdubb has a point, I see a user controlled player but not a user controlled defender anywhere. The pic where it shows Michigan state winning. I'm not saying your right or Tulsa is right because its a weird situation, I'm just going off what I see.

Does the West Virginia guy post here?
He hasn't been online in 3 or so days.
Yes he was the first guy to join mid-season
there are quite a few plays that can can be ran, but of those choices, if you won't bump when you blitz, you are asking to get curl routed, out routed, and slanted all game. so i gotta find all my plays that work against the blitz cuz the other guy won't play zone and thats cheesing?
I understand how you wants these game to run. The more realistic approach. No nano blitzes, same play all game, i get it. But I feel like what you are trying to regulate are tricks guys find that you can't adjust to. you can adjust and call a coverage to defend every route ran on this game.
Ohh yeah Jeff, Tulsa guy asked me if you could reset the game and let them replay it. I'll send you the PM he sent me if you need it
I can adjust to a lot of things so this isnt about me.
All I'm saying is this dynasty will be kept realistic to that certain extent.
As far as that game being played again, probably not going to happen.
I will have to talk with both of them
I wasn't trying to make a big deal out of it. But all I am going to say is I rarely brought extra defenders. I did mix up some zone blitzes in hopes of catching him off guard but most of the time I was manned up and in press coverage, especially once I noticed he ran a ton of curls. I wasn't trying to complain about it necessarily I was just making an observation when Jeff asked how the game went. I will leave it at that.
No need to apologize or anything.
I need to know about things like this
I played and posted yesterday...
To UCF, you wanna try for about 6:15?
