Pg: Pistol Pete
SG: Marcus Thornton
SF: Chris Jackson
PF: Bob Pettit
I would put this team on anyone but UNC but I want to see other starting 5's.
Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.
Pg: Jason Williams
Sg: Vernon Maxwell
Sf: Mike Miller
Pf: Al Horford
C: Joakim Noah
I'll do UNC since PSU really wouldnt have a team worth anything.
PG: Lawson (could go Felton or Ford here)
Was really tough to pick this team, UNC has had so many great players. Could easily make another 3 or 4 teams that would be loaded.
Pistol Pete averaged 45ppg in college which is still an NCAA record, with no 3 pt line, crazy.
Petit and Shaq would dominate down low.
sg- Avery Bradley
sf- Kevin Durant
pf- Lamarcus Aldridge
c- Lasalle Thompson
Pistol Pete might have been the best college player ever. I loved his game and he was so far ahead of his time. Guy would have easily scored over 50 a game with a 3 point line.
Oregon's isn't even worth posting. In no way am I a bruin, but I would imagine they could probably put out one hell of a 5.
No clue, that's one reason I made this thread.. See other schools starting 5
Gtown could choose from Ewing, Zo, and Mutombo. Not to mention the great Michael Sweetney.
Not guilty y'all got to feel me
Good depth for sure but I'll take Petit/Shaq over the best 2 of those. I'm a homer though, young cats don't know how good and big Petit was.
This is a pretty cool thread.
But, UCLA and Georgetown would be unbeatable imo, until they faced each other of course.
Pettit is legit.
That LSU squad of yours would put up some big offensive numbers.
Cleaves, Randolph and J Rich off the bench
Not too shabby

Yeah, when Chris Jackson got hot, it was over.
Still holds NCAA freshman scoring record.
Edit: We wouldn't have much of a post with Ellis (6' 7") and King (6' 7"), but we sure would shoot the lights out of the building.

Butch Jones. Who???
Not too shabby. Our starting 5 is ridiculous but if we went by best all-time team, we wouldn't be nearly as high as you guys.
Edit: I see what you did there...
As an Ohio State fan I want to join this thread, but I know I would have to include Greg Oden. Unfortunately his pro career would devalue any post I could make.
Great teams ITT!

I'd roll with the big lineup with Jalen playing point-foward
PG: Jalen Rose
SG: Glen Rice
SF: Cazzie Russell
PF: Chris Webber
C: Juwan Howard
BN: Trey Burke
BN: Rudy Tomjanovich
BN: Robert Traylor
BN: Campy Russell
BN: Gary Grant
Jail: Rumeal Robinson
Good list, but I would probably add Bill Buntin and Louis Bullock.
Anthony Roberson or Nick Calathes
Agree about great teams. UCLA and UNC. I'd like to see Duke and Maryland's as well.
I wouldn't put Oden in ours.
PG Mike Conley
SG Jimmy Jackson
SF John Havlicheck
PF Clark Kellogg
C Jerry Lucas

BN: Juan Dixon
BN: Steve Francis
BN: Len Elmore
