Whoops, really botched that, my bad.

And Jordan wouldn't have been near GOAT without Pippen and Rodman. You need good teammates to win, not sure why Lebron has his success taken for granted because he chose to have good teammates instead of having bench warmers like Jamison and Mo Williams as his main help.
Plus James is nowhere near Jordan. I just said Lebron had the 2nd best single season of all-time, not that he was near the GOAT (yet).
Probably true. But greatness at scoring in the clutch is the single most important attribute of a basketball player. Otherwise you are just depending on others
What is happiness? The feeling that power is growing, that resistance is overcome.--Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche
First off Rodman (34yrs old as well) was only on 3 of MJ's championship teams and second of all if MJ never retired he would of 8 straight titles. Your arguement about Pippen of course you need another good player but what you fail to realize is the Chicago Bulls are the only team in NBA history to have a dynasty w/o a dominant low post scorer..

Lebron's lack of scoring in the clutch is a fabricated story.
How many big shots does he need to hit before this myth is no longer trumpeted by Lebron haters.
You watch the game Sunday? Off balance three sends game into OT.
How about that game in finals? Lebron on one leg hits a dagger three.
How about game 2 in finals? Lebron hits off balance fade off glass with under a minute left to make it a 5 point game
How about game 7 ECF? Lebron hits DEEEEEEP three to ice the game.
How about Game 6 in ECF? Dagger after dagger.
I can go all day.
But he did retire, and he didn't win 8. Can't play the what if game.
Lebron had a terrible team and he decided to change that. Not sure why people can't just deal with it.
Right, the decision. A thing Lebron has apologized for over and over again. Does he need to get on knees and suck off all the haters before he is forgiven?
Lebron is not Jordan, but Lebron is better than Larry Bird, it's not really close. My guess is the Bird lovers are all old white dudes who hate Lebrons flash and cockiness. My point, if you were given 90 mill at 18, and on the SI cover at 16, you'd probably love yourself an awful lot also.
as a bulls fan, this is my favorite point to bring up when talking hoops. It blows my mind that a team could be that good, for that long, without dominant bigs.
Teein' Off on Links
Lebron isn't that cocky all that's the problem he doesn't have any balls, he doesn't talk junk he's a nice human being that's his problem. You have to be a killer on the court that's why Jordan was the best b/c he was a natural born killer. When that fan hit that GW shot LEbron gave him a hug do you think Bird or Jordan would ever do that? Not a chance in hell...
That's what happens when you have Jordan, plus two of the greatest defenders of all-time (Pippen, Jordan), and a couple of guys who eat glass for breakfast (Grant, Rodman)
Bulls might not have had a dominant post scorer, but they had rebounders coming out the ying yang.
The Heats best rebounder is Lebron, and they are likely headed to their 3 straight finals. Lebron doesn't get the credit he deserves IMO.
The point is the supporting cast for Lebron is absurd, its a manufactured dynasty.
Jordan and Pippen came about organically and they worked hard together to become a dynasty. The the 90's bulls were pure.
Thats because he was 25. Jordan wasn't up for discussion as the greatest when he was 25 either.
So Lebron is human and that makes him a worse basketball player? Lol.
Here is a fact, Lebron James best season is better than Kobe's.
MJ and the Bulls lost to the magic in 1995, so no.
They would've won in 94 probably. But still the NBA was incredibly week during the mid 90s. Jordan went against teams like the Knicks, Pacers, Supersonics, and Suns that all basically just had one guy
It's not a dynasty (yet).
But yeh, Lebron, Wade, and Bosh don't work hard together.
Also, Bosh is a pvssy, and Wade is on the downside of his career. Jordan's supporting cast was much deeper.
Pippen for a lot of title years is better than Wade now.
They wouldn't of lost to the MAGic if Jordan never retired, they would of swept the MAgic; you have to realize MJ trained for a year to become a baseball player weight training etc so he had a baseball physique at that time, wasn't in that great of shape either. Jordan never lost a basketball series in his prime another amazing STAT what makes you think the freakin magic are going to do it?
Because they actually did it.
Lebron doesn't get the benefit of excuses, neither does Jordan.
You just can't say unequivocally they would have won, because guess what? They lost.
All we can look at is what actually happened. Jordan wasn't motivated or thought he could just show up and win or whatever. My point is what happened happened and we can't just edit history. It's hard to win 8 in a row
Exactly. I could just as easily nitpick and say if XYZ happens, the Heat win in 2010-11. But it didn't happen. We screwed up, simple as that.

Russell did it and if a player never lost a series in his prime than it's pretty fair to say that he would of won 8 straight, he had a baseball physique, if he was in basketball shape he wouldn't of lost..
Can't deal in what ifs.
If Mario Chalmers plays more than Bibby in the 2011 finals, then the Heat have two rings. Man, this is a fun game.
Lebron was in a "basketball mindset" in 2010 because of the decision.
All the hate took it's toll and he couldn't properly focus.
See I can make up weird things that have no basis on reality.
Jordan won 6 titles, no point playing the what if game.

No surprise that an NBA thread turned into Jordan, Kobe, and Lebron discussion.
That's totally different im comparing a baseball player's physique to a basketball player with weight training, look at prince fielder and miguel cabrea not in good shape at all compared to lebron and wade optimal shape. That's my point. Wade is much bettter than Pippen he had one of the best final performances of all-time..
