Offense - James Wilder Jr
Defense - Terrence Smith
Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or it may last a year. But eventually, it will subside. If i quit, however it will last forever.
Offense - Mario Pender/Jameis Winston
Defense - Reggie Northrup/ Karlos Williams
Offense: Whoever is the #2 RB - Kenyan Drake, Derrick Henry, Tyren Jones. I think Tenpenny RSs
Defense: Deion Belue will have to step up big time, but i will go with Landon Collins here. Once he understands the entire defense he will be something special
Damn, beat me to it. /end thread right there
i'm on another boat
Defense - Quay fits, but i'm going with Justin Cox a la Banks freshman year
Offense - Jameon Lewis but may lost some touches to inside Corey Smith. Also, Robert Johnson
really wanted to put Nick Griffin in that boat but the second ACL tear threw me off
$50 bet with Rebels10 - Best of 3 Egg Bowls
**the $50 goes to others schools athletics dept**
Offense: Malcom Lewis
Defense: Tyriq McCord
"There's going to be a lot of people who didn't stand with us who are going to be remembered for not standing with us." - Al Golden
Two PSU opinions already won't prevent me from throwing in my two cents.
Offense: Akeel Lynch. Very good RB that has a speed element that I believe PSU is missing in the backfield.
Defense: Deion Barnes. He's already done well this past season, but I think he'll become a very good starter this coming year. Possibly Nyeem Wartman, but I think he'll take a year or so to become adjusted to playing a lot.
Can't really argue with defense for OSU. I'd put Washington and Spence as 1A and 1B, but Philly Brown has already arrived. I'd imagine you'll see a good bit from Marshall.
Time and change will surely (truly) show
How firm thy friendship ... OHIO!
I expect Jordan Jenkins to have a huge year on defense. Josh Harvey-Clemons could be a breakout guy as well.
On offense, I think Jay Rome will come into his own as a big-time tight end. He had a solid year this year, but I think he takes the next step next year.
1. Mario Edwards
2. Jameis Winston or Jacob Coker. One of the two likely starts and both are very good
Already broke out obviously. Who else ya got man?
Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.
For the Gators:
Offense- RB Kelvin Taylor (son of Fred Taylor) or QB Jeff Driskel
Defense- LB Antonio Morrison or DE Dante Fowler Jr
No offense taken. It's just the system that puts up those numbers. He did break records as a QB though.
I see what you did there!!!!
“If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.” ― Haruki Murakami
yeah I might be wrong about Williams, but he certainly didn't have a great year or anything...
And i think Davaris, relative to his talent, didn't have as good of a year as he could have. I expect that to change next year without Eifert
Any receiver really...as Theo, Toma, and Eifert will all be gone, so that's a lot of passes to be handed out. Hell, I even think T.J. Jones is gonna have an exponentially better season next year, at least stat wise
The Wake Forest game really gave me a lot of hope for what the offense might evolve into next year
I don't know if it will be a good thing for AU if JJ is starting by the end of the year. It may be good for the future as you would have him for 2-3 more years after that, but you got to think that it would likely mean another subpar year if he is able to take over the position by the end of the year. JMO.
I understand where you are coming from but this is a different system. I think this system profiles more talent that actual reading defenses and all that. You don't have to have a Cam Newton in this system to win 8 games (which would be a very good thing for us next year). You don't have to have someone that has been in this exact system for years two or three years to make it work. It's more about the talent because there isn't that much reading the defense or things like that. It's one or two quick reads and you're done.
Offense: WR Bralon Addison
Defense: LB Boseko Lokombo (BoLo)
I bet Seals Jones will break out in Sumlin's offense, especially with Johnny Heisman throwing him the ball

He got some run for us this year but I think we'll be seeing a lot more of him next year.
I don't know how your line depth looks but you guys will have some unreal skill players for the near future.
Think that one tilts in your direction, but since we landed Mariota I'll let it slide.
Yeah, fair enough. Gus's system is a little different than Oregon's but are somewhat similar in the fact that they are more of a run-based HUNH offense. Oregon seems to be able to plug in one QB after another and be successful with some of them being underclassmen.
