Lol @ auburn in a bowl
Georgia won't be in the sugar bowl. I think msu will be in the cotton bowl also
No way is Boise in a BCS bowl. No reason to look below that projection.
South Carolina will be playing in the national championship. No offense in the country can stand up to that defense!! Nasty!
Something about automatically qualifying? With 1 loss, and if they are ranked high enough, I guess they automatically qualify.
The highest ranked non-BCS conference champion automatically qualifies if they are ranked in the top-12 of the final BCS standings or if they are in the top-16 and ahead of at least one BCS conference champion.
Does ND count as a Non BCS team even though they are part of it? They will surely be in a BCS game this year even if they drop 3
you think so?
No. ND has their own separate rule. If they are in the top-8, they automatically qualify. That rule applies to ND specifically and not to other independent schools.
with the way our d is playing i would fear playing oregon. but its possible to have oregon and wvu in the title game. that would be a ridiculously high scoring game
The one BCS bowl on that list that I can't see happening is K-State vs. ND. I see ND in a BCS bowl, but I can't see the Fiesta committee selecting Kansas State if there is anyone else they could pick. If another Big XII team (especially Texas or OU), a second Big Ten team, or Oregon are available, I think K-State would get passed up.
Yeah I do. Including Bama.
they're good dont get me wrong but it was Georgia who OL has some issues but I hear you.
This idiot obviously has no clue. He said WVU will now move to #2 because they beat Texas and FSU lost. Umm, huh? They current #2 team(Oregon) just destroyed a top 25 team. Now is UW actually a top 25 team? Maybe, maybe not, but regardless it is what it is. This guys logic is way off and he obviously does not like Oregon. These predictions are a joke. Lol.
It is his end of year projections not rankings
He thinks Oregon loses some games. These are his bowl projections.
The PAC-12 #2 team plays in the sun bowl? Good grief. oh, and there is zero chance Auburn qualifies for a bowl game.
It would be fun to watch Malzhan take Jim to the woodshed.. WVU still has some "tough" games against KSU and maybe OU. Don't see how they jump Oregon.
in a related story, jerry palm was just hired by bleacher report to be their new national prognosticator
If his projections were to be accurate, the non-MNC BCS games seem pretty dull. The best one may be KSU vs. ND.
But it is the DVDA Bowl in Birmingham.
Hey!!! Where's my.... oh shat.. NM. Carry On.
I dream of a day when chickens can cross the road without having their motives questioned.
No way uga goes to a BCS game this year. South car or Florida will probably get the #2 spot, not uga. I don't think Boise will get enough love in the polls or computers to qualify for a BCS bowl this year. They lost to the only good team on their schedule and that team might end up with 4 losses this year.
JMO but no way does WVU make it into the championship. They are an extremely explosive team that can beat anyone on any day, but if GS has an off day or for some reason they just aren't clicking right, they can lose to almost anyone due to how bad the defense is.
Now with that said Alabama may not make it to the championship either, but teams built like WVU are built in a way that sets them up for an upset or two throughout the year, where as a team that relies on running and defense is much less susceptible.
