Oh trust me I can get waaaaay nastier than that at this hour, but I am a gentlemen so I wont .
Even the Speaker if the House only makes a couple hundred grand. That's mice nuts for most of these people.
It's called tough love.
But seriously, I don't buy this. I think people do care at the same level. I'm no gun expert, but it seems like the guns we are talking about are much much more prevalent than 20 years ago. Is that true?
What is happiness? The feeling that power is growing, that resistance is overcome.--Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche
Yep exactly. The president is of the same stature of a bagger at a grocery store. Being the president requires no security just like us because we all don't have to worry about plots or assassinations.
Just to play devil's advocate, there was guy in Alabama who went on a school bus, shot the driver and was/is holding one of the kids hostage in a bunker today.
If it happens it happens....
Next man up
I think the folks in Greece will tell you yes its gets very "real" and some of the folks in this country when people loot their stores, homes ect.. when a crisis happens, please pull your head out of your rear end.
Remember taxi driver the movie with deniro? He had a small pistol. Imagine him with modern weapons
Uh, no, he hasn't granted all illegal immigrants amnesty. Read the proposed law.
Answer my question. If Obama can do anything he wants, why hasn't he done all these things that Republicans keep saying he wants to do?
Yeah.. I don't even see a need to reply to this.
You don't agree??
Do I agree that our president doesn't need the security and if he gets killed we just replace him and continue that ongoing process? No, I don't...
No, it's called people don't have the same connection online as they would in person so they are much quicker to say things that they would never say in person. They just wouldn't. I read stuff online all the time that I have never heard people say to someone else.
Yeah, I'm sure we all believe that you're a gentleman.
Here's a good phrase for you to google: "Ad hominem fallacy." That's why every semi-intelligent person in this thread just dismissed you as a joke. Enjoy!
Do you really not see the logical flaw in what you're saying? If he only cares about his own agenda, and he can do whatever he wants, why isn't he doing it?
Enlighten me with the counter logic . Armed guards on every street corner?
If we don't need it, neither does he
Just a tough situation for everyone
I don't really see a problem with that. Those are real feelings
No. What you said is ridiculous.
We already have that and it's not helping
Well its ridiculous that he is trying to ban guns.
Oh well....next man up philosophy
The internet is fake feelings? Huh. I never knew I was talking to robots this whole time.
You just keep repeating the same thing over and over. What you are saying is outrageous, but I'm sure you will say it again.
Gun control is not taking the Second Amendment away. An outright ban of firearms, yeah. The Second Amendment doesn't exist in a vacuum. It "lives" with many other clauses within the Constitution. For example the Commerce Clause. Guns are traded over state lines, and therefore are subject to regulation.
I'm not defending or arguing against gun control, but I do feel the need to point out certain facts.
Not outrageous at all.
He is no better than you and I
