Of course you could, assuming that there is an infinite # of people to shoot. Assume you walked into a gun free zone and there were 50 people in a large room. How many could you kill with a SAW? An AR-15? A .22 pistol? A shotgun? A pipe bomb?
The answer to all is as many as you wanted to.
I would feel confident in saying that I could kill significantly more people with a SAW or pipe bomb than I could with the other 3.
I feel like you're leaving out a lot of factors, such as amount of ammo being carried (and able to be carried), duration of the engagement, time before help arrives, etc. etc. etc. In a perfect, infinite ammo, Call of Duty world sure, I could kill as many people with a knife as I could with any of those. But we're not operating in a vacuum.

Threatening your family? Who is threatening your family?
Also, the 2nd amendment is more hindered than any other amendment.... Taking guns away from law abiding citizens isn't going to do anything but raise crime statistics.. Look at Chicago... Where Obama said should be the example for the country when it comes to gun laws...
I didn't realize there was a wall around Chicago and no 1 could go come in or go out. Gun laws can't be really effective unless they're the same everywhere.
This thread alone would kill half of them right off the bat.

"Nobody makes me bleed my own blood, nobody!"
Of course, there is a frenzy now and people have let this whole issue cloud their common sense (if they ever had any). The "Obama is after all of our guns" argument is ridiculous, as long as it isn't a stepping stone to go after all semi-auto guns next. I think some of the more logical gun people are using that as support for their claim. I don't see that ever happening, but who knows. We live in crazy times.

Who's threatening to take your guns away? Why do some of you come up with these open-ended and unrelated points in these discussions?
I'm not calling for anything but more regulations and licensing/tests for weapons considered "higher power." I feel the same way about automobiles; I think there should be more testing in general before getting one's license but I think there should be another tier of testing and licensing to be allowed to own and operate cars above a certain power threshold, much in the same way you can't just go drive your car on Road Atlanta without the proper licensing or fly a plane.
Hells yes. Good call.
That's just ignorant...
Just because your afraid of guns doesn't mean they are bad.
Oh, god. The easiest strawman-generator ever. I see it all too often.
Have you not see the law that one old hag is trying to pass? I can't remember her name but she basically lists EVERY GUN minus bolt action weapons in her bill...
I'm also not bringing up an open ended or u relates points...
I'm not attacking you or saying you are wrong, I'm ok with licensing, but not outlawing or banning.
Do I think more licensing will help anything no? But I'm willing to compromise for the sake of argument.
If we could just get marijuana legalized I'd never GAF about anything again......ever.
Will it do anything? Maybe, maybe not. Is there really a downside to more education in the proper operation and safe usage of firearms? Of course not. We just have to do something proactive.
I can't wait to visit my friend in Denver.
If you were my neighbor I would be excited you were going as well....more specifically for what you'd be bringing back!
i just don't understand why i can't own a good old-fashioned flame-thrower to defend against a home invasion or government tryanny.
remember how useful some of those rocket-launchers were in the original Red Dawn?

Did you see my question on the last page? C&P below:
"You're level headed on most issues I've seen, what is your opinion on gun control in a nut(shell)?"
I agree, more education and knowledge is always better.
It just depends how it's put into affect, IF they are going to make a new law, it needs to be fair to law abiding gun owners and not give into the anti gun lobbyists.
I live in MS and after 34 years I still don't have a gun to my name. I want one gun, one clip and no excuses when or if someone breaks in. That's it. Never understood the obsession tbh.
Of course you could in a Call of Duty atmosphere, but you've seen how much ammo these lunatics are carrying when they are shooting up schools. Also, we all know that armed help is never right down the street, either.
20 7 round clips isnt much different than 7 20 round clips. Armed good guys always stop the massacres, not a lack of bullets in a clip. The whole point of what I typed was that a perfectly legal .22 with multiple clips in a backpack would have the same effect.
I may be totally off base (from reading stuff on the interwebs) but aren't flamethrowers not considered firearms and, thus, aren't technically illegal?
Hitler gave everyone free marijuana before he took all the guns.
We'll have to agree to disagree. That's like saying getting T-boned by a Miata would be just as bad as being T-boned by a Hummer. There is a reason weapons like the M249 exist: To do more damage and do to it more quickly.
I'm not going to re explain what I just Explained. You either comprehend it or you don't.
