what a joke.
csprtContainer(); The No. 1 college football prospect in the nation says his commitment to Clemson is a “done deal” if the Tigers offer one more of
Nkemdiche is pimping the hell out of Clemson.
How many schollies does Clemson have this year? Aren't numbers tight?
"People always ask me if I wish I were bigger. I tell them no. I always wanted to be a miniature badass." Dustin Pedroia
Robert has Dabo wrapprd around his little finger, all these crappy players are going to start because Nkemdiche will threaten to transfer if they don't. This is basically what Keenan Allen is doing at Cal, he tells Tedford that Maynard starts at QB or i'm gone.
I mean Clemson even got a commitment from Austin Meadows, though he will never play there.
Hey Trojans, LSU's 74 are better than your 75.
He left out the part about his HS coach getting a job next year to coach DB's.
This is starting to be a win-win for everyone. He's bringing a bunch of marginal talent to Clemson, and he won't be going to Alabama.
LSU and Bama are turning out to be the big winners here. Amazing talent, but this has to raise red flags everywhere about this kid.
Seems like a good kid, but I'm just baffled by his actions. Can't believe Dabo is letting it happen either.
When you see players create this much drama, they rarely pan out in CFB. Look back through the history of recruiting since the '90s and you can see a LARGE # of guys who were PrimaDona's and ended up being duds.
Dabo is a pawn in the game RN is playing, but I guess Dabo would rather have a team of service guys, as long as he has one bell cow.
It really surprises you?
Agree. They come in promised the world and expect to get by on talent alone. This won't end well imo.
Dabo must feel a tad helpless. What's he going to do, not offer the kid and risk losing RN? It would suck for a 17-year-old to have you by the balls, but I guess at least it's RN.
Wow, not even attempting to hide it. Pretty sad.
You all haters. Also jelly.
just what I was thinking .
That's a Clowney statement, bro.
pathetic.. " I dont think I would fit in there" when talking about LSU and his "boys" not being offered. Kids gonna have to grow up fast once he gets to college. Not the kind of attitude I want on my team I dont care if your the number 1 player of the 50th best player in the nation. Were worried about winning Natties not signing everybodys "boys" so the team can fit in. You fit in as a team when you go out there on Saturdays and stomp some a**. This is grown man football something Dabo obviously doesnt know about.
It is pretty comical to watch a coach get strong-armed by a 17yr old. If you think it looks bad with just recruiting him to campus, wait until he gets on campus. Clemson should just go ahead and rename the school what it will be: Eastern Troy State.
Furthermore, as a Grayson player, it has to be insulting to think the only reason you got your one "big" offer is because you rode the coat tails of a fellow player. Besides Gallman, what other great schools have offered these guys? The "pawn schols" are nothing but marginal--at best--Georgia State players.
As a Clemson fan, I would be embarassed that the best my school can do is look like they are getting taken to the woodshed by one recruit. It's pretty sad and just shows you that Dabo will do anything to just be relevant.
As an opponent of Clemson, I hope they offer the whole Grayson HS team and it's coaches.
not saying the star rating is everything, but if this kid is next would that be 3 kids with a mid 70's rating?? great to have some 5 stars but doesnt do much good surrouned by low 3 and 2 stars
Bryce Brown comes to mind. So much drama. So little football.
I noticed one part of the article bammers left out. He still wont go to your school even if Clemson doesnt offer his other teammate. That really is hilarious considering all the talk about him being a lock earlier this year and then subsequent talk about his recruitment not being over that still goes on bammer boards today
It's sad that Bryce Brown got drafted and a guy like Kellen Moore didn't.
This kid is going to be an amazing player barring injury. Unsure if he is worth all that he is being given but we will see. It seems ridiculous to me.
Nah, it is really not in the same category. bammers still obsess over this kid as evidenced by this thread. Nobody on Auburn boards still obsesses over Stoops, because most Auburn fans think Van Gorder is better anyway
Better mustache, that's about it.
Im starting to think he isn't a sure thing. The guy has issues and went to Clemson bc of promises. Take players a,b and c and im a done deal. Seems like the type they will have to derecruite and won't take to coaching. Clemson has advantages and is a good schoool but why would an out of state #1 player go there without his teammates. The defense sucks and the next two schools on his list have great D and put 5+ guys in the pros each year.
You wish that was it. Van Gorder produced top 10 defenses every year but his first year at UGA in the toughest conference in college football. Van Gorder also helped Georgia to double digit wins 3 out of his 4 years, 1 SEC championship, and 1 BCS bowl game. He is also well regarded enough to get a job as an NFL defensive coordinator
I would take Van Gorder over Stoops 10 times out of 10. If Chizik did go after Stoops, it was probably because he thought getting Van Gorder from an NFL team was not possible
