The argument all season has been going on as to who the best conference in College Football is, its finally bowl time and teams get to "prove" which conference is best. Here is what the SEC drew this year:
BCS National Championship Game: Alabama vs. Notre Dame
All-State Sugar Bowl: Florida vs. Louisville
Capital One Bowl: Georgia vs. Nebraska
Outback Bowl: South Carolina vs. Michigan
Cotton Bowl: Texas A&M vs. Oklahoma
Chick-fil-A Bowl: LSU vs. Clemson
Gator Bowl: Mississippi State vs. Northwestern
Music City Bowl: Vanderbilt vs. NC State
BBVA Compass Bowl: Ole Miss vs. Pittsburgh
It looks like Slive runs the NCAA along with SEC with the way this is set up
8-1 is my prediction, i think Northwestern takes down MSU to hand the SEC their only loss, TAMU v Oklahoma will be close but Manziel pulls it out late for the aggies, Clemson cant handle the LSU defense, NC State loses in the first week to the SEC and ends the season to the SEC, Pitt has played well in some games and have decided not to show up in others, i think the Rebels pull away late, and Alabama shows that once again the Irish are still irrelevant in atleast a 14 point game if not worse as the Bama oline pounds away at the Notre Dame front 7. The other 3 teams need not apply
Wisconsin vs Stanford
Nebraska vs UGA (ouch)
Michigan vs SCAR
Purdue vs Oklahoma State (ouch)
Minnesota vs Texas Tech (ouch)
Northwestern vs Mississippi State
Michigan State vs TCU (pretty evenly matched)
TCU vs Michigan State- L
Miss St vs Northwestern- W
Georgia vs Nebraska- L
South Carolina vs Michigan- L
Stanford vs Wisconsin- L
Texas Tech vs Minnesota- L
Oklahoma St vs Purdue- L
1-6 is my guess.
sounds about right. Maybe 7-2
Holiday Bowl - Baylor vs. UCLA - Tossup. Will be high scoring. I'll go with UCLA, but wouldn't surprise me to see Baylor win.
Car Care Bowl - Texas Tech vs. Minnesota - Texas Tech easily.
Pinstripe Bowl - WVU vs. Syracuse - WVU
Alamo Bowl Texas vs. Oregon State - Oregon State
Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl - TCU vs. Michigan State - TCU
Liberty Bowl - Iowa State vs. Tulsa - Another tough one for me. Going Iowa State because of their defense.
Heart of Dallas Bowl - Oklahoma State vs. Purdue - Oklahoma State
Fiesta Bowl - KSU vs. Oregon - KSU
Cotton Bowl - Oklahoma vs. Texas A&M - Oklahoma
Guess that makes my guess 7-2.
the TAMU-Oklahoma game is gonna be one for the ages i believe, this should be a BCS matchup
Will be a really fun game to watch. Both teams are really solid this year.
This is when you really get a good sense of how good or bad your conference is. The SEC is looking stout.
Actually, since two of our top teams are ineligible for postseason play, it changes the entire complexion of how our conference stacks up with others from top to bottom. This year's bowl season only tells me that our bowl participation is maligned and not indicative for how the conference is as a whole (although admittedly the conference's last few years worth of piss poor postseason performances give a pretty obvious clue).
I think A&M wins by two scores. I have not been impressed with Oklahoma this year. Manziel should have a field day with their defense.

Alabama over Notre Dame 27-17
Florida over Louisville 38-13
Nebraska over UGA 31-28
South Carolina over MIchigan 34-23
A&M over Oklahoma 62-49
LSU over Clemson 35-17
Northwestern over Miss State 28-21
Vanderbilt over NC State 27-24
Ole Miss over Pitt 42-20
SEC goes 7-2
I think 7-2 sounds about right but there is no way that Nebraska is beating UGA. Even if they are disappointed with not making the NC.
closer to 56-17 imo
who are your 2 loses?
Vandy could very well lose to NC State.
Ole Miss could lose to Pitt, and I hate Pitt.
A&M vs. Oklahoma will be a close game.
Georgia is 1-2 vs. good teams this year. Nebraska isn't a gimme win.
I fully expect Northwestern to stomp MSU.
LSU has looked straight up awful at times this season. They come out flat against Clemson, you never know. Hell, they beat Auburn by 2.
There are potential losses. I don't expect the SEC to lose more than 3, though. Doesn't mean it can't happen.
ACC - 0 for the Century
Not guilty y'all got to feel me
Northwestern over Miss State and I think one of the upper tier teams take a loss.
Maybe Clemson over LSU or Michigan over South Carolina.
Just don't see the SEC going 8-1 or 9-0. Bowl season is always crazy especially with teams taking so much time off. There will be some upsets.
Just got a feeling. Never underestimate the ability of Aaron Murray to completely shit the bed.
OSU screwed the B1G this year. If we were eligible all the other teams would slide down a notch and play a more realistic team.
LSU is either gunna come out flat cuz they don't want to be there or beat them down
Not really. Capital one, outback and gator would be the same. Wisconsin would slide in somewhere in the BWW or meineke, then they start moving down.

Big Ten might get a win.... hopefully.
Agree, let him see how it feels coaching a real football team
Vandy could lose but they have been playing well and NC State, outside of the FSU game hasnt really just played well
I hate to sound like a homer but the way we have played this season outside of the Texas game just has me thinking we will beat pitt, i think it will be fairly close because we always seem to not show up for a quarter but after the Egg Bowl i think we learned to play 4 full quarters and Pitt just doesnt have the team like TAMU or LSU to wear us out late
TAMU Oklahoma game wlll be close i think, that is my possible second loss.
Nebraska just got sanduskied by Wisconsin and UGA has plenty of time to recover. The only time UGA has just looked helpless was against USCe but that has been a long time ago
I have no faith in Pastor Dan Mullen to beat Northwestern
LSU has looked bad but has found a way to win em all except in the Swamp and at home to Bama and Clemson has found ways to lose games to FSU and USCe
