Fatheads Head Hunter is easily my favorite.
Sarah sorry about the Herpes.
I've never tried that. The thing I like about Snake River is that, for the most part, you can only get it here in Wyoming. They have a very small distribution.
I'm not sure about head hunter but it its def mostly ohio. I have had many of the elite and love this one.
The next time I find myself in Ohio I'll have to give that one a try.
It is legit.
I really enjoyed it but would have preferred a little more hops. Could probably knock back two or three without even noticing it.
Three W's In My Life: Ward, Weinke, and Winston
I've found this is true of most IPA's, and it's the reason I usually drink DIPA's now.
I have a hard time drinking just a regular IPA anymore. I think that might be why I am not that impressed with Zombie Dust. Is is just an APA. I need more hops.
I completely agree, although here in Wyoming there aren't many DIPAs available on the regular. The monthly trips down to Ft. Collins are a savior for me, and expensive.
I say this half jokingly but half serious,
I feel sorry for you
Teein' Off on Links
I usually find that if I start with IPA, I like them a lot. However, if I start with a DIPA then switch to a single, the single isn't flavorful enough.
You see that sign that says 'Rib Tips'??
I usually practice something similar to this by starting with light colored beers and then working my way up to the stouts. If you reverse it, it just doesn't seem right.
At Intuition Ale Works. Having their Riverside Red. It's alright.
Now on a Dark Star Milk Stout. Definitely like Terrapain Moo Hoo more than this one.
Now the Shotgun Shack Rye.
Haven't had too many Ryes but this is one of the better ones I've had.
Older viscosity is pretty legit. I would say its the bba beer for non bourbon lovers. After 2 10oz Double Troubles on draft and this bad boy i got the beginning of buzz going.
No bourbon flavor? I know they aged it in new oak bourbon barrels.
I'm baffled reading reviews. Then again I just had Doom last night and that is full of bourbon. This just seemed other than the spiciness not to have much bourbon. I drink the thing in like 40 minutes which is short for how i usually take down something bba.
Yeah I read the reviews and some said it had a huge bourbon flavor. It confused me since there shouldn't be any bourbon flavor.
the bottle says that the barrels were used,
Oh really? On BA it says new oak barrels.
Went to a Pizza Place around the corner. Having a Bold City Dukes Brown Ale
The more this Cafe Royale warms up the better it is. Great beer.
Having a Bells Oberon now. Needless to say I'm having a good time.
