I have some options right now.
Sculpin or Permanent Funeral or Crystal Hero on the day it was released in bottles.
Teein' Off on Links
Only had Sculpin of the three but really enjoyed it.
Three W's In My Life: Ward, Weinke, and Winston
Got a growler of Truck Stop Breakfast Stout from Intuition that I'm gonna have in the AM.
Have a permanate funeral coming my way. So excited.
Sarah sorry about the Herpes.
Grabbed a growler of Truck Stop Breakfast Stout last night from Intuitoion Ale Works last night that I'm going to be enjoying this morning.
Nice. You on vacation one something?
No my schedule is ever changing and I had Sunday, Monday, and today off. Kinda like a three day weekend with a work day in the middle lol.
Looks good. Had flying dogs citrA double ipa today. Like imperial white rajah.
So this is the first growler I've had. I got it Tuesday night. How long would you say I have before I need to drink it all?
Stout will hold better than ipa so I give it about 2 more days.
Day off tomorrow but justfinally had the time to sit down a couple minutes ago.
Alright, here goes.
Excitement was at all time high before opening this FFF one time release.
I've had several high end DIPAs over the last months. This is as excited I've been since Citra Ninja. My first Pipeworks experience...
The beer is all citra. It's grapefruit and orange pulp and piney bitterness. It's really good.
I expected better. Everything I read said this was the big brother to ZD. Rated100 on BA.
It is beers like this prove reviewers brewery bias. This beer wouldn't win any awards in a blind tasting. Citra ninja was just as good... If not a better malt backbone. I know it's a lot to ask from a DIPA, but I wasn't sad when this one was finished. It wasn't refreshing or enticing me to take another sip. Didn't find myself trying to savor it against my will. I've gotten that dilemna from every Pipeworks DIPA I've had. Citra, Cascade, and Simcoe Ninja all left me sad when I realized I had one last sip left. Double Jack and Double Fist both do the same as well, recently.
So with that said, ill probably give this a 4.something. It will be a red number though. Didn't live up to zombie dust, or the other DIPAs I've had lately. Very good, but not worth the 100 rating. Maybe in the 92-95 rating to me.
Edit: the burp aftertaste is amazing though

Tonight I had kbs and two double troubles on draft. Got 2 blacknote stouts and got a growler of kbs as a bday present to my friend.
Growler of KBS....mmmmmm. Had a BCBS last night with some bomb ass chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream. Really good stuff, may like the KBS a little better. Wish I had more subjects to more thoroughly complete my study.
You see that sign that says 'Rib Tips'??
It is very good stuff. The blacknote was going quicker than the kbs did though.
Similar stout I presume
Bba expedition it's my first opportunity to have.
I was referring to Blacknote being similar to KBS. Is it?? Or have you had the Blacknote?
I was explaining blacknote I have not had.
I wonder where the hell Aussie is. He got a delivery in his 'rear entry' today from UPS. I need pics!
Duh. Sometimes I'm not so quick.
I am out of town today though. Will be home late tonight.
Weird one here. Anyone every try this one from Boulevard?
